Honestly, after almost 10 years this mod is still relevant. Maybe it worth to find the time to come back and make new fixed version

В целом если новая версия и будет, то уже в A4 и с другим размахам. Пока ни A3 ни Reforger не позволяет сделать нормальную систему для брифинга и рисования планов
Ребята из комьюнити фиксили для своих сборок модов и выкладывали где-то рабочую версию даже где-то в воркшопе, попробую найти

How to make drawing markers and lines through keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + Alt + LMB not combined with drawing thin lines from vanilla arma on Ctrl + LMB?
This is an awesome mod that we've been using for quite some time. But sadly there are some "quirks". Drawing vanilla lines with modded ones etc.
Adding functionality that will allow you to place markers into side channel only with long range from TFAR would also be awesome!
The question I got is if you would be ok with me rewriting and adding the functionality we would like to have to this addon and upload it to workshop, ofcourse crediting you properly.

Looks nice but in practice ... it's better to use zeus an set Nato marker there.
Sometimes while driving i find a very "sweet" (pun with your name intended) spot for sniping/watching a tower in KOTH that i want remember later...
In case is not possible...so I guess that is a good idea to make a mod of it!

Great System i rly like it.
One future request would be, that only the Creator and Server-Admins can delete a marker
We use it for Mission-Claim marking on our server and often it happens that someone deletes a marker of another player to "re" claim a mission
Ppl can have a look in the log who did it, but i would love to have a "Permanent" option for markers so only creator of the marker and Admins can delete/change a marker.
