But it's a nice map, good layout, good design, it's very fun :D
Don't pay attention to the toxic gang down there, you guys did a great job!
Plenty of cover and corners,
3 entry points to each site makes holding, and pushing, both more fun and more competitive.
Overall my personal favorite.
Well done, keep killin it.
Also thank you for kind words everyone! We are super happy the map found its audience :)
That's just my one complaint though! Overall, this map looks really fun and cool but playing it is well,, chaotic!
the texture looping around b is doodoo ahh
@ZERO-FIVE STARS thanks for letting us know, we will look into it
There is far too many corners/hiding spots and to clear them all in a timely manner is impossible. May be ok for a causal but for competitive just nooooo.
Bombsite A: Cover by buildings making insanely hard to throw Smokes to cover angles and just block of doorways. making it hard to really play competitvely. Hard to come in without a p90 rush throught the dock/beach side and steamroll.
Bombsite B: Enjoy throwing smokes 15km up the air before it can land inside B. or if you are lucky and Tiny little window you can throw a smoke through or a flash. so insanely closed off making it more fun to play A, i dont think B will be the priority of the Ts.
Fixes:
A: Lower the buildings a meter or 2, making it more accessible for Ts to throw smokes and come up with gameplans.
B: Open up with more windows and remove the roof.
This shit never be able to participate in electronic sports competitions
It's a callback to the weird maps of CS 1.6. We were aware that might not be everybody's cup of tea, but pushed for it anyway. The Mapcore FACEIT contest Big Adventures gave us a nice opportunity to try something different so we threw all the crazy ideas we had at it.
Given the strong reactions we got so far, I think we accomplished that aspect. Some people absolutely love it because it's so colourful and unlike anything in CS. Others absolutely hate it because of that. We're happy to see that players are so passionate about the game, but the way it's being expressed in some cases is not healthy for a community that relies on creativity.
BUT IT's a SHIT MAP for CS2
