@DisKorruptd No thats what makes this mod awesome as fuck, it adds a magazine to each weapon. There is an ammunition system buts its off by default, all the reloading ammo mods out there always fail to address MAGAZINE CAPACITY. Now you can have ARS with 30-40 magazines while lmgs will have 100+.

Does this mod make the player have to manage actual ammunition stocks? or this just the current magazine? It's so annoying having to craft 10k bullets while managing everything else.

Tbh it's people like you that deter modders from updating their mods & that began on the 27th of April.If you're so impatient, learn to code or go to the RimWorld Mod Market discord & commision a fork.

Of the mods that add ammo and reloading mechanics, this one is my favorite. I hope it gets updated when the author has time.

Yeah same i really enjoy actual mag capacity AND ammo. All the other mods just do ammo and each gun has like 500 bullets its insane. This actually makes ranged combat more tactical.

Weird bug keeps happening to one of my colonists where they stand in place and get stuck in a reloading loop. Happens every once in a while but when it does it basically breaks the pawn in any combat. I am playing with a good bit of mods so there could be a conflict, but nothing I could imagine that would directly interfere with this. Here's part of the debug log message.

Exception in SetupToils for pawn Bones driver=JobDriver_Reload (toilIndex=-1) driver.job=(R_Reload (Job_23442982) A=Thing_Alien_Avali638 B=Thing_Gun_HeavySMG1548725)

Hi there, I would like to report a minor issue when used with 'Awesome Inventory Forked'.
That mod allows you to pick up a weapon without equipping it.

Result: Infinite loop trying to reload weapon a non-equipped weapon

1) Prepare an empty bow, either by crafting or spawn using devtools
2) Order a pawn to pick it up, without equipping it
3) Pawn automatically tries to reload empty bow
4) However, since bow is not equipped, reload fails

Workaround: Equip the picked up weapon, pawn successfully reloads

Very great mod by the way.

It's a marvelous MOD! I would like to report one thing.
The cause is unknown, but when used in conjunction with Mile's "Plant Growth Sync (Continued)", the title of the MOD option changes from "Reload" to "Plant Growth Sync".
Therefore, two "Plant Growth Sync" items will be displayed in the MOD options.
One is a "Reload" option, so there seems to be no problem functionally.

Is it compatible with Infinite Reinforce and Ifnusion 2? They give ability to increase magazine capacity, but for CE (as far as i understand, im not CE user)

Also seems to disable Reloadable Rockets recipes from the machining table is that intended? When i remove this mod they reappear.

Nothing comes up on logs for the reload spam, ive found that if i reload first then activate SAD then it'll work until they kill the pawn they were targeting.

Seeing pawns reload at different times during combat is very immersive. Excellent mod.

For those curious, Yes it's compatible with LTS Ammo. (can disable reload ammo)

yea this makes gun fights much better without obliterating balance and stuff
when i tried to use no ranged cooldown by itself a raider obliterated my colony with a deringer firing faster than a machinegun

oh heck yeah! this is very similar to a mod I had comissioned a while back. it's very nearly exactly what I commissioned. the no ranged cooldowns thing makes it exactly what I'd commed. (does Vanilla Skills Expanded reloading specialization make your reloading faster in this mod?)

this mod with no ranged cooldown works pretty good (my pawns can dump p90 ammo on the enemy without the enemy's two barrel shotgun becoming faster than chain shotgun)

Seems like there is a bit of a bug when using Search and Destroy and needing to reload. Will spam reload without moving or reloading when search and destroy tells them that they should be moving.

@SalmonToastie I double this mod is great but the reloading is rather tedious and the autoreload is very unreliable from what I've seen.

either a 100% working auto reload or a way to force reload the entire pawn line would be nice

For anyone asking, enemies also do this, combined with the no ranged cooldown this mod provides some pretty cinematic gunplay.

However as a suggestion for the mod creator, if you could figure out a way to give multiple selected pawns a reload button instead of having to select each pawn manually then the mod gets 10x better, it would make tactical repositioning easier than having to move them and then click through while paused to set the reload.

I really like this, ive always disliked ammo but i've always wanted a form of the reload animation. No ranged fire cooldown worked but this is even better.

SO Can this mod make a single ammo reload an entire magazine via the options? Like if I set amount per reload to 15 and the magazine capacity is 15 will it reload to full off of one ammo? Because if so it is not working in my game right now. If not, is it a feature you plan to add?

@turkler if you need ce alternative check yayo combat, if you want ce experience without bullet hassel check combat reloaded
