To everyone asking for an update: I'm working on a massive update for France, post-war German vassals, and Africa. If it's taking so long, it's because I'm just one person programming and have quite a few academic responsibilities. The update will be out in about two months. Thanks for your patience.

Really interesting concept for an althistory mod. It would be a colossal amount of work, but re-imagining the outcome of the Russian civil war and the early Soviet period would be incredible - because the OG Soviet tree doesn't make as much sense in the context of the mod.

It's one of those 'maybes' of history, would Stalinism not have happened / happened differently if the German revolution was successful? With extensive German industrial aid, the NEP may have been very different, perhaps the rush to collectivise and industrialise in the early 30s may not have happened etc. Keep it up!
