Nope it doesn't, only Communist China (now becomes Confederate) and Nationalist China.

i tried and it still crashed, always happens when pushing into manchu/korea land, not sure if its some event failing to pop up?

When you enable this mod best disable other mods, it changes a lot of things may cause conflict
