Even if it's still a bit flawed, this mod has made the game fun for me again. It gives it that aspect that HOI 4 desperately needs if the player is meant to take the game beyond 1945: Entropy. Nations that handle their finances badly can carry long-term damage even after decisively winning a long war. Which finally means that there are actual consequences to how one wages war, which is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much for putting in all the time and effort into making this!

@Spärde Don't worry, the level of corruption and its effects have already been nerfed. Additionally, it will be much easier to eliminate corruption! :auimp:
3C 273 Aug 9 @ 7:53am
Thank you for working on this! The idea and scope of this mod are great and I'm looking forward to updates
Spärde Aug 1 @ 5:26pm
Also I should probably add, I did not see the anti corruption syndicate decision and it refunding spent PP on corruption liquidation.
However I am unsure if the AI was ever able to activate it during my saves. Maybe lowering its PP cost will make them more likely to choose it, unless there is a weight taken into account on how important it is for them. If they even can activate decisions.
Spärde Aug 1 @ 2:48pm
@Wulf Looking forward to the next update you push. In the meantime I just boosted passive PP gain by 2 as a baindaid solution, and it seems to have alleviated some of the corruption.
Might just be placebo but in 2 games over 5 years I haven't found a state with over 10 corruption.
Wulf  [author] Aug 1 @ 8:15am
@Spärde I'm on it to fix this issue as well. And also I'll on it to make easier to reduce corruption and the AI will also use it more often. Thank you for your feedback!
Wulf  [author] Aug 1 @ 8:13am
@T-REX Yes, I saw those pictures and I'll on it to fix this issue! Thank you for the feedback!
T-REX Aug 1 @ 8:06am
Mr.Wulf

If that's the case, could you please fix it so that it supports the official Japanese language?
I selected the official Japanese language in the launcher settings, installed this mod, and played Hoi4, but there were a lot of text display bugs and the screen went all weird. If you could just fix that, it would make it much easier to create translation mods.
I've also posted photos and details of the bugs on Discode.
Spärde Jul 31 @ 10:30am
Also does the AI not make any attempt at clearing corruption? I wind up conquering states with over 12 levels of corruption on occasion.
Spärde Jul 31 @ 10:11am
The corruption system definitely needs a hard cap at 100%
I can consistently make it about 5 years in while spending the vast majority of my PP budget combating it with max level administration and Education/Welfare/Healthcare budget; and still death spiraling.
Meanwhile my corruption level climbs into the 130-140% range which is just absurd, leading to a new corruption event every month and lower stability.
I make enough money, there's just too much to spend PP on and not enough ways to make it (at least that I know about)
Wulf  [author] Jul 31 @ 6:06am
@T-REX Feel free to translate the mod to Japanese. I don't have the knowledge to make it.
T-REX Jul 31 @ 5:09am
I would be happy if you could add Japanese to the translation.

@Faust Von Sekendorff Can't catch this, sorry. Add me on discord @callmewulf and try to explain it to me!
Wulf  [author] Jul 24 @ 10:50pm
@3C 273 Yeah, I'm currently working on it. Thank you for your feedback!
Wulf  [author] Jul 24 @ 10:50pm
@Vader You can lower the corruption within economic decisions/corruption decisions. You can also get the anti-corruption syndicate within the political actions decisions. You can find the Finance Minister in the innovation menu.
Faust Von Sekendorff Jul 23 @ 2:10am
For some reason there is no possibility to appoint ministers or there is no bureaucracy button, in the photo in the workshop after resources there is 1 more canopy, blue leaves. But I don't have it in the game and also I didn't find the technology to extract new resources. Tell me maybe I just didn't find some button or didn't look carefully. Sorry I don't speak English well
3C 273 Jul 14 @ 12:57pm
You need to seriously rework or soften up the corruption. Playing a minor nation, I cant even get an agency, with all states having a -50 - 90% modifer on factories. This sends minors into death spirals and its game over from the start
Vader Jul 10 @ 2:40pm
And how do I get a minister of finance and anticorruption syndicate?
Vader Jul 10 @ 2:22pm
Hey, how do I lower corruption?
Wulf  [author] Jul 4 @ 4:24am
@Empty_Cosmos I’m glad you like it. Have fun! :steamhappy:
Wulf  [author] Jul 4 @ 4:23am
@Sneders Underfable No, it’s not a bug. I just forgot to rewrite it, but otherwise it doesn’t affect the gameplay in any way.
Empty_Cosmos Jul 4 @ 12:18am
Loving the new features changes and fixes in the update bud!
Sneders Underfable Jul 3 @ 8:47am
In the launcher says that is still for 1.16.5. Is it bugged?

New update! :auimp:
Wulf  [author] Jul 2 @ 4:59am
@kilofmanGAMES If you establish the anti-corruption council, it will help you automatically eliminate corruption and also prevent it from spreading further. For example, if you increase the level of the Minister of Civil Service, the PP cost of eliminating corruption will be reduced. With today’s update, the AI will now use innovation points, so sooner or later they will also be able to eliminate corruption. As for difficulty balancing, I would like to implement it so that at the beginning of the game, where you set the difficulty, it will distribute the statistics accordingly. Thank you very much for your feedback! :steamhappy:
kilofmanGAMES Jun 28 @ 1:02pm
Not sure if its beacuse i run other mods that give ways to spend political power, but AI seems to heavily struggle with corruption, which ends up heavily gutting them. Also it would be nice to be able to automate reducing corruption as late game it feels like a chore, plus having to rely on rng to be able to clean corruption from max corruption states on top of that also doesn't feel great. I feel the corruption system needs overhauling, and if not atleast an option to automate it. (Plus having an option to either disable/reduce how much corruption in states affects AI in game rules would be nice.)

@CloakTheMailman At the top, where it shows how much money you have, to the right of that there's a light bulb button. Click on it, and you'll find a + button with a grey background.
CloakTheMailman Jun 8 @ 7:28am
I think Im blind or stupid but how do I appoint ministers?
Wulf  [author] Jun 3 @ 2:17am
@Emperor Palpatussy Currently, work is in progress to allow you to sell certain things on a global market, and also to give you much more control over the exchange rate of your currency. As for the 10% chance of inflation still happening, all I can really say is that it's a matter of luck. Regarding the lack of economic dependence between countries, unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that, since I believe that implementing such dependencies should be Paradox’s responsibility. As a modder, I can’t do everything either, because my capabilities are limited. As for the compliments, thank you very much! I’m doing my best to integrate more detailed and complex economic mechanics into the mod, but most importantly, to fix bugs and balance things properly. :steamdance:
Emperor Palpatussy Jun 1 @ 4:35pm
This mod is great, I enjoy the extra dynamic this adds and it gives me a dopamine hit each time when i get the exchange rate at sub 0.95% while playing as a formerly second/third-rate power. Also, the UI show/hide button really helps, as, using UI replacers with formerly used to cause compatibility issues this mod, but thankfully the button fixes that quite easily, the gold UI is sorely missed though, kinda annoying to dig through each nations 13+ national spirits to find their reserved commodities.

The only thing I'd like to see is a world reserve currency system + more methods to improve your exchange rate (maybe add interest rates and a demand system?) in order to make it work, as, the only current 'issue' with this mod is the lack of any sort of interconnection between other nation's economies.. and also to fix my economy constantly fucking inflating despite my summary reading as low as sub 10% (at times) inflation risks for no discernible reason.

@Empty_Cosmos Could you make a short video about it, upload it to YouTube, and post it in our Discord forum, please?
Wulf  [author] May 27 @ 11:49pm
@Saftschluerfer If I'm going to start doing it, I won't make a temporary solution, I'd rather do it properly.
Empty_Cosmos May 27 @ 2:39am
I noticed once you get the economy up and running and have gold silver and cash coming in, if you swap between those currency resources too often with a large amount of gold/silver/cash saved up, it suddenly puts them into negatives and prevents you from being able to change between them again
Saftschluerfer May 26 @ 6:39am
maybe there would be an easy early fix that gives all ai 5% on all internal affairs and no new debts or something like that
Saftschluerfer May 26 @ 6:37am
great thanks for the info :)
Wulf  [author] May 26 @ 12:17am
@Saftschluerfer By AI Behaviour, I meant that it uses decisions and other smaller things that are relatively easy to implement for an AI. However, the rest is harder to do and takes much more time. It was recently added to my TODO list, and hopefully, once it's ready, it will be included in the mod.
Saftschluerfer May 25 @ 10:05pm
it says AI behavior but ai in my games always just gets massive debt debuffs and also debuffs from bad internal affairs
Wulf  [author] May 24 @ 6:07am
@Empty_Cosmos No. The highest value is 15%.
Empty_Cosmos May 24 @ 4:44am
last question big dog, does the budget for each of the internal affair categories go higher than 15%?
