Hi everyone! The Arma 2.20 patch has caused some mechanics to break, and we’re worried missions, for example, might not work as intended. We’ll be looking into this over the weekend and speeding up the next update.
Big thanks to everyone who’s dropped a like or added us to their collections — we’ve passed 1000 collections and really appreciate the support!

Yeah Awesomichael, CUP is great, but one of the weapons caused a script error during setup, so we dropped support for it. We might add CUP Units separately at some point, or maybe take another look when we’ve got more time.

Hi Fettimethazine, thanks for your message. You’re right to ask. It’s been a few months without updates due to various reasons. We’ve used our free time to keep working on the scenario and are now finalizing the next build. As mentioned a few days ago on Discord, we aim to release version 0.8 by the end of June.

Thanks to you Sword Saint for playing Proelium! Difficulty scales up to 4 players, which is the max. You can also adjust it in the lobby parameters by choosing low, medium, or high, which tweak a few balance elements.

Some small imperfections are still online (often caused by Arma itself, but we’ll fix them). Hey Fettimethazine, fair question. We can’t really know if enemy supplies are nearby or not. Proelium has a complex ecosystem; lots happens without players realizing it. That said, the message is generic: it sounds like intel but doesn’t actually say anything specific. In the future, we might tweak some phrases to create side missions.

One question about the intel feature, when the civs give out intel on like lets say aa and caches is there actual said caches in the area to look for? or is it just intel atm

Thanks, Fettimethazine! No worries about the updates, as we've always delivered, and 2025 will be no exception. A major update will be out before summer. As for the mentioned CDLCs, they don’t add a ton, but they’re on par with the base game in quality.

Hi SempeR, we found code errors in CUP when we first tried adding it months ago, which is risky in a context like Proelium. It would be nice to have, but we can't say when as we're fully focused on the next version with lots of new content.

Hello Kmista112tyt, as we’ve explained in previous responses, this feature has a purpose. When the host alt-tabs, some data sent to the client could get lost. It might be a bit annoying (even for me), but it helps ensure that no one risks losing their progress. We’ll try to find better alternatives in the future if possible. For now, I’m sorry that it causes some inconvenience, but I hope you understand.

Hey Alexnicnac you’re probably referring to the radio in your inventory, that’s just the default one for basic squad communication. To access support and other functions, you need to equip a radio backpack or recruit a radio operator and activate it.

I'm currently having an issue. When talking to civilians I cannot check them as it says the radio is not on. The radio is equipped but is not showing in the quick menu to turn on

In general, some mechanics may not work properly due to the use of complex mods. We recommend sticking to vanilla version or the elements mentioned above, which we officially support. However, we are here to help with any issues and appreciate your feedback, so thank you!

Does this not support TFAR or ACE? It seems to disable interaction key and radios. ON load we had an option to turn our radios on but going into the arsenal removed that option

You're welcome, feel free to ask anytime. I also missed the lobby params for ages. As for factions, adding new ones is quite tricky. In theory, we might see an INDFOR faction or some modded BLUFOR or OPFOR factions in the future, but I can't say for sure right now.

Hey Atlas, we found that if you call the task around curfew time (an extreme scenario), for example, at 3 AM but leave the base at 5 AM, the Curfew and Patrol logics can get mixed up. The task follows Curfew rules, but civilians act like it's Patrol time. It's a rare issue, thanks again for the helpful report.

Hi Ж Leo, some mods may interfere with Proelium's architecture or vice versa. We recommend using less intrusive or complex items, preferably those we've marked as compatible. Sound/graphic mods should be fine.

Whenever I try to start the mission I hear a death sound get a black screen after the title "Proelium Altis".

I am running ACE, RHS, Lambs and some sounds/graphics such as JSRS, Animated Recoil, etc. Are any of then not compatible?

Thank you for your detailed comments. Yeah you can gather intel, assist civilians, search for the wanted, or do nothing at all. It’s entirely up to you and your friends how to use that time. The task must still progress, as we don’t want to enforce a specific path. Thanks again.

Curfew mission was generated at 5PM which I found odd, but eh, early curfew maybe. Then the accidental discharge and after around 10 minutes the mission ended saying to leave the area without us doing anything at all.

I had no addaction on them to arrest once they were in the panic state. I think the cooldown would make a lot of sense, as I waited expecting it to happen.. Thanks!

Hi Atlas, during curfew, civilians still outside must be arrested (even if they panic, it’s possible). If you cause panic during a daytime patrol, you can still complete the task. Has it happened that you couldn’t arrest them during curfew? That hasn't been reported before. In the future, we might allow civilians to return to a regular state after a cooldown, though nothing in this regard has been planned so far.

Would it be possible the the civilian AI return back to regular activites onces the shooting has stopped? My friend accidently fired a shot in the village we were supposed to enforce the curfew and then we couldn't do anything with the civilians.
