I realize you were trying to be unique when designing the blue flame in the back, but the only reason I dont use this engine is because it clashes so badly with every other engine made for the game. just my 2cents

@ Northern Renegade well it can also be used for atmosphereic flight, making it a little more useful.

The fan as a cooler in the front will do nothing because you are in space, there is no air. Think people. Think.

Great work on the model, but I don't personally like the exhaust sprite very much. Just my opinion.

yea i would love to see a large ship version of this, it shouldnt be too hard to scale up the model

are you planning on making it available for large ships. i used it on my small ship battlestars and wondered if there would be a larger version in progress

I have to agree. This mod is not very realistic. After all, if you use it you must assume there is no gravity, spaceships can be constructed out of blocks, reactors are as small as a human, and a long list of other totally unrealistic things the game forces on us. I may have to stop playing SE as this mod made me realize how unrealistic the game is.

Super cool wish it was also a large thruster like the "hyper thruster" for large ships

TheAshenMage:Two words: Hybrid, Engine. This game is set in the future. Thus "Realism" Is completely irrelevant. Think outside of the box. Living inside one is dull.

To people who are hurt because it's not "realistic", well neither is much of SE. Astronauts don't carry welders and grinders. Is your hormone controller set to HyperMoan? No. So why would you get bent over something so silly.

I enjoy this game thoroughly and when people do things I can't to enhance it I'm excited! When people contribute ugly things I just don't download them.

Really like the open parts. It's not just a block and an exhaust mounted on it, so it looks way better than vanilla thrusters. Turbine does not make much sense in space, but it's really nice modelled and the covers over the turbines looks like protective plating that could be closed when in space so you dont get dust and such inside the engine.

Another model like this but with a different front, hex covered or some other cool stuff would be a nice addition to these custom thrusters!
