it's way more immersive than turning on youtube, and but not tedious like constantly swapping tapes.
When Build 42 is stable with multiplayer support and most players migrate to it, we'll delist the B41 page (i.e., this page) and rename the B42 version to reflect that it is the only supported version.
I did virtually nothing this update. I literally deleted duplicate files that seemed unnecessary. Praise Norby. I would not have touched this mod for months.
Everyone, praise Norby because that madman updated this mod for B42 if anyone is playing that solo while we wait for B42 multiplayer to drop.
In the interest of NOT unnecessarily pushing updates for the stable Build 41 version of this mod just to make it work for Build 42 (which almost nobody who joined Project Zomboid for multiplayer is playing yet), we have separated the versions.
True Music Jukebox for Build 42 can be found here.
Jam on, melophiles.
Seriously though, this is the ultimate True Music music player for your base...insanely good!
It may be the case that another modder steps forward and drops a completely new way to upload music tracks before B42 True Music exists.
There are too many unknowns for me to want to update yet, but, eventually, maybe.
I did add functions for only adding unique True Music tracks to your jukebox, so you can always use that shortcut to prevent yourself from loading unplayables.
Loading unplayable content is ultimately harmless because it will be skipped.
Also, I was wondering, it may be on my end, but I want to ask nevertheless, is there a way to make the Jukebox only be able to hold both cassettes and vinyls? I can put any type of item in there -w-.
I have just thoroughly tested this, and I know the function has confused some people recently, but it IS working.
@Thunder Based on Andy's test, it sounds like you have a conflict or a configuration issue. Please contact me on Discord for more detailed help.
I've enabled HappinessRecovery to 80.0 and left all other settings the same. I will report back if things stop working. Thanks again for the help.
I will leave the device off and allow some boredom to accumulate and report what happens once I turn it on.
I've left all other recovery options set to 0.0 for this test. I'll keep you posted but let me know if you think I should tweak any of these settings.
One question about sandbox options, does enableJukeboxTherapy need to be enabled for something like jukeboxBoredomRecovery to work?
Thanks again for making this.
Alternatively, if you are playing solo, locally editing your mod files is allowed as long as you do not reupload your edits without a modder's permission, and you could fairly easily hide the Lifestyle UI that way.
Your mistake is very common. No worries.
One comes through selecting a genre in the addon list
The rest I have to make a playlist to get access to the new music
Here is what it looks like for me: https://imgur.com/qs7gZ3r , https://imgur.com/12ltezB.png
There must've been something I've done wrong along the way, let me recheck the mods.
