this mod is basically dead and completely outdated
yet again a lot of LOC errors i must fix
will fix soon
Similarly, large cities separated by a river, such as Leningrad, do not actually stand on the same bank of the river. The river literally runs through them, dividing the city into parts.
Otherwise, a lot of work has been done, my respect to the author.
1. There's MANY railroads that just lead to nowhere and randomly stop and don't reconnect to other supply hubs. This happens when you add new states which interfere with the vanilla railroads. It's somewhat of an inconvenience for the player, and a huge obstacle for the stupid AI which can't deal with supply. I use another big states mod and it had the same issue, after a few days of reporting every missing railway the dev finally ended up fixing them all, I haven't found new ones in weeks in that other mod.
3. Some terrain inaccuracies (These aren't your fault, they are vanilla's fault, but this mod is a good opportunity to fix them). Many cities with the urban terrain map aren't actually urban tiles (Kochi, Nagasaki, east and north of Oakland, Charlotte, Gaziantep, Brest, just to name a few). Areas like Indochina and northern India are forests instead of jungles. This is probably the easiest issues to fix since you just change the definition file.
5. You could try to add more historical states (main focus in Europe since that's where the fighting is at). For example the states in Poland that Germany and the Soviets annexed, these were always off in vanilla. Slovenia which was partitioned between Germany Italy and Hungary, the rest of Yugoslavia too. The AA line, the demilitarized Rhineland (this one is almost in the mod already, Baden just has this bulge), historical states in Arabian country if you play the Ottomans or Romans. Just to name a few (I keep saying this because I dont know about all inaccuracies lol)
7. Maybe add pre-built forts in some important locations. Most capitals and major cities that got these new micro provinces around them., historical fortress cities like Leningrad, Stalingrad, Breslau, Cairo (historically Axis never reached Cairo but combined with the Nile it's safe to say it would be insanely hard to capture). Naval forts along southern Uk, probably in most Japanese cities (Allies never landed there, but once again it's safe to say major cities like Tokyo alone would be Stalingrad like battles).
Right now I'm working on making them look better, but i could look for someone to help
Bosporus and Rhineland will be noted, so will iwo jima
I'm not really too sure how to make a portrait look like the hoi4 style, so i kind of just put the leader on a hoi4 background.
Rhodesia will have its own focus tree, with nyasaland, and northern rhodesia to come soon.
