In dark environments it could be passable, but with just a little bit of light the dense winding pattern is just too noisy and bright. Additionally, due to the periodicity of the pattern on, e.g., the Box you're getting more warm than cool colours: red-orange-lime drown out the cooler parts which will isn't good as it will ♥♥♥♥ with team perception (at least on the larger weapons.

What did you change in the update?

yeah it looks mediocre on the detonator, but on weapons where the pattern is more condensed like the amputator it's way too busy and ends up looking bad

this does not look like clown vomit. the colors fit into tf2 well and it looks pretty cool and unique rather then being the same silver warpaint

we do have rainbow paints actually, they're just desaturated so they don't look like clown vomit

kinda looks like a toy gun. if it was part of something like a prolan collection V2, it could be included, although i dont really think it fits the game tbh

this is a really nice concept. i love what you did with the lighting. however the colors could use a little bit of toning down, just a bit. as it stands they are rather bright

if youre gonna call it metallic rainbow why not color it... like an actual metallic rainbow? you could literally look up "tempering steel" into google and find better colors. or hell, even bismuth, thats another metal rainbow you coulda done. could've even probably had it be like macaw masked with random geometric shapes as well. this is just bad my guy. do better. be better.

The colours are unfortunately just not fitting, if you picked some darker maybe more washed ou colours however with this texture work? Now that's something id like to see.

this looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. you managed to make a rainbow warpaint actually fit the game. it is not too bright, it is not too dull, its perfect. i need.

Colors are too saturated and in the in game screenshot, the texturing plus the dark lines makes it look 3d ish, which looks pretty bad on the weapons.

As it is right now, no.

now that i see the in-game screenshots it's like marble.

for a rainbow paint, it's good, but too bright. if you dulled it down it might come out better fitting of the game.

Not sure on this one, on one hand, its really cool and has nice textures but on the other hand, its too bright for the game. I'll say yes regardless since it does look cool

it's been very interesting seeing rainbow warpaints on the workshop evolve from "photoshop rainbow gradient preset" to "actually stylised and fitting for the game"
