Love the mod, though would like to see a 25 and 50 variant of the -99 cheat genes, often the -99 is too much for my genetic needs/wants and sometimes is not enough with the second -99 being too much. Additionally you should be able to set the complexity of the the various cheat genes to 0. I've seen other gene mods do it for their cosmetic genes.

mystery man , i'm not seeing a problem putting fertilized ovum into the growth vats, whether they have one of the cheat genes or just the baseline genes.make sure the ovum is fertilized and then make sure the growth vat has nutrition? not sure why they would be disabled since this mod doesn't touch the growth vat code at all.

if i added this mid run would it stop me from being able to put embryo's in the vat. i also realized the vat growth job in the work tab is gone now

- added individual genes from the presets so you can more easily make your own cheaty races(didn't add any additional ways to save the groups of genes or anything, just added the stats/hediffs/needs with the cheat genes for each one)

koimono, i don't know for sure, but i found 2 options for a gene definition that sounded like it shouldn't be available. one might be on npcs, the other might be in stores(which makes me wonder if factions would use that stock and add them to npcs?) i disabled both options

still gotta look into making it player applied only and not have random NPCs have these and wreck your stuff.

I do see an XML error when I start the game in Dev mode. It reports that <causesNeed>Deathrest</causesNeed> in the Alpha Sanguophage gene doesn't match anything in the GameDef. I've checked, and I have Biotech enabled and loading before this mod. Did they just rename the Need? The rest of the genes work, though I haven't tested the Alpha Sanguophage gene it's complaining about. Love the mod, and I appreciate your work!

i modified the version on github to use 999 instead of 999999 for all stats & abilities. be a moment to change the version on the workshop as that can only be done from in game

So a quick little caution for anyone using the super psychic gene / god gene.

DO NOT USE any psychic abilities that use psy sensitivity as a multiplier because you will be waiting yearssss before that ends lol. And it will damage everything.
It will also end up throwing a heap of errors when moving off the map.

I ended up changed the psy sensitivity values to 999 as a more manageable number for myself. Otherwise its an awesome mod to have some absolutely ridiculous fun with super op pawns. 10/10

Anima Scream is multiplied by psychic sensitivity. Having arbitrarily high multipliers on certain things will result in undesirable side effects. Social impact at extreme values can cause an insult to cause a similar massive negative moodlet.

The god and invulnerability genes seem to be causing an issue with the negative mood scaling. For example if I cut down an anima tree with those genes it causes -6,000,000 mood effect.

@PandAli (Sarge) files are all just text for this mod, you could edit them to whatever you want. i have no idea how to add in options pages or whatnot.

@daia4474 i thought there was a tag on gene defs to make it player only, but looking at my xmls i don't see where that is marked. I don't really have a way to stop them, tho i can see how that would be game breaking. maybe if you encounter it, just turn on dev mode and delete/kill/recruit that npc? considering god genes are OP, there isn't much else i can think of.

if i remember correct, i think i changed the resolution of the game to 4k and the ui stayed the same number of pixels, meaning i could get it all in one picture.

I think it would take more than my skills to make tooltips scroll or wrap to a second column or something. would be nice to have tho for somethings

i put up a github if you wanted to post an issue there and maybe show pictures (probly still have to post pictures thru imgur or whatever but at least on github links are deleted randomly like on steam discussions). preferably to see what genes you have on the pawn, what their 'gear' tab shows, and what their info shows for carrying.

manipulation should be affecting carry weight, but i don't know why you're experiencing what you are experiencing with that pawn.

Yeah, my pawns are capped, I think, to 35kg of maximum carried weight, even though their manipulation are in 999999%

if you check what gear they have, sometimes i find they're carrying extra things. should show under the armour on the gear tab. that should tell you total of what they have on them.

i played around with some scenarios, but aside from them carrying too much already and not putting it away, i'm not sure why they'd be finding corpses too heavy. in one test i even noticed a pawn with 75 carryweight haul the bear corpse that was 129 to a dropoff zone. not sure how that works.

@Lineuzinho eu vo pula - does their info show that the pawns carry weight is super or normal? it should be a big number. tho I wonder if it's possible to have it roll over due to the max int issues with some games. i never really ran into that myself tho, so i'm just guessing. If the pawn's info shows a negative number, or smaller than 999999 then it probably didn't apply the gene correctly. i've had that happen with other genes too (even base biotech genes). wonder what those bears were eating to be so heavy tho... :steamhappy:

hey nice mod, I'm having some bug, I think, my colonists with strongman cant carry polar bears/ normal bears to the butcher table because they're too heavy, anyway to circunvent this?

@morsse - oops sorry about that! forgot a '-' for the minimum comfortable temp, so God was set to a range of 2000c - 2000c and anything normal on a planet would definitely give them hypothermia

I have a colonist with the God Gene and he keeps dying since today, gets hypothermia, severe, and dies after a few seconds. The mod worked great up until yesterday, no idea what happened. Been trying to check other mods, and the only game where the pawns live is where no one has any of the cheat genes. Any suggestion is welcome

i just checked the code for the tetra coil bull yeah that's a headache and a half multiple different xml files to make it work i don't blame ye for not thinking you can do it I have trouble even understanding simple xml c# coding also tetra coils is from alpha genes

@iloveherobrine752 - I have no idea how that could work. I've been trying to stick to just genes for this and that would require a lot more than my skillset.

If there's other things borked, let me know here. I'll try to fix it at some point.
