I like the idea of it, but it looks too similar to the scotsman stovepipe. Maybe if it were smaller, I wouldn't mind, but upon closer inspection, this is literally that tophat from Garry's Mod painted all black, with a pair of glasses.

The name is indeed a reference to Charles Dickens and the design is inspired by an amalgamation of many different iterations of Ebenezer Scrooge (and a little bit of Scrooge McDuck too)

I do say there top hats your selling are quite remarkable, I would undoubtedly like to see this added in so I can show the fine gentlemen in the community server I go to with along with a new jacket I just bought from the community market.

Yeah I agree. I don't think there's anything wrong with the current paint region, but having an additional style that paints the band instead would be very nice

A simple, gimmickless tophat's been sorely needed for TF2, especially one that anyone can use.

I can see this tying very nicely up with a lot of loadouts in the game.

Sure does, yeah. Works totally perfectly

Sniper's ver uses his "prp_hat" bone too, so he takes it off during certain animations. Always try to fit my items to specific class bones whenever possible
