Would you mind if I borrow parts of this ( the small connectors ) for use with my PETROL mod?

The small connectors would be of great benefit fueling small block ships.

I believe this mod breaks the connector for small ship, uninstalling it didn't restore the functionality.

Not sure why, but for some odd reason the small grid conveyors when linked to the connector small stay with red indicator lights instead of bright ones even though I had every block path in the vehicle owned by me. everything had sufficient power too. I was using the auxilliary conector previously but I was unable to get the csd battlecannon shells to go through it so I tried this one thinking I could make that work with the replacement pack version.

As great an idea this is, it does seem to be broken. No thumbs down though, as I'm hopeful in a fix and not hate-happy.

While I like the idea of this we have encountered a rather serious bug.

My friend and I play together in a game that we host each other on saving and hosting depending on who was on last. I donwloaded the mod and launched the game. While I could access the inventory of the ships with connectors as you would expect, my friend could not. We removed all the connectors (we didn't have that many) and replaced them. Wouldn't work for him. I had him ad a connector to a ship he owned and it wouldn't work at all.

Thoughts?

A Note to #Mycroft (Canada, NS) Connectors can eject items to not only ejectors
but to bad that it rotates the connector and ejector on smal ship.

I gave this mod a thumbs down because it turns the connectors on the basic ships upside down and renders them useless and because it breaks my Ejector Miner by replacing the ejector.

Hi.

I just noticed that your connector pack removes the Ejector from the build list. I was looking to create an ejector, and I couldn't find it so I disabled your mod, and I was only then able to find the ejector in the list (using "G" Key).

Just thought you should know.

it doesnt seem like these actually work. i cant transfer items through the large door on the connector of the small ship through the large door on a medium cargo or a large cargo.

@Scion You are right about the bug. I cannot fix this. It is unfortunatly a tradeoff to have it offseted and able to be mounted properly at the end of single block like piston or rotor. I suggest you use the Auxiliary Connector Pack so you can use the original one as ejector if you need this feature. I realised it too late since I never use the ejector feature (throw all). I'm sorry I can't help you more. I wish I could fix it.

I noticed that the large connect tends to bug out when ejecting small steel tubes. It's like they get stuck inside of it... between the middle part (the nipple lol) and the edge. Can you look into this please?

@FreddyKrug. I have build my own lillte ship. With standarts. Using a medium container the the grinder and backwards on container the connector.
After I have grind some parts I cant fill the connector with the parts which r in the container. So I cant unload it. I will check it again. But when i must rebuild all connectors on working ships is that a bit work. My friend and I having build so at least 12-15 little "helper". Some having 2 or 3 connectors. I've seen on other mod they using ur conectors and working fine.

The "P" button aso works to lock a ship in without crashing in my experiance. with your mod installed too. sorry for sowing any doubt in your work. really is great stuff!

@MistaD It is inded a side effect of the mod. I suggest you flip them manually (grind and rebuild).

so a weird bug probably. The starter ships, particularly the keen construction ship and the keen mining ship the small ship connector (not ejector) is flipped. I've tried priority loading and it appears to be the same.

@ Morpheuse10 I made some test and everything seem to work perfectly. (Beside the crash that is not related to the mod). Can you give me more detail. Exact block you were using between what kind of ship. And a precise repro step. You need to understand some mats or components are considered large and cannot go through small connectors or conveyors. I might not understand properly what you try to acheive.

I can confirm there is a crash happening when using the Lock button from the K menu when docking a small ship to station/large ship. The crash is not related to the mod but the core Connector mechanic. You can still use SWITCH LOCK from a toolbar shortcut with no issue. This will have to be fixed by Keen since it's not related to the mod.

@ General McMuster Hi, thx for the info, I was a bit busy so I coudn't check it out already. I'm "happy" to know it might not be the mod but some SE bug. I will still investigate a few thing to make sure the mod is reliable!

@Morpheus 10 I'll investigate your problem as well but I suspect you clogged the connector. Thecnically if you use collect all with it large components could try to go through and be stuck in the connector since there is no place to attach a large conveyor.

so the crash i experianced happened using vannilla connectors as well. not the fault of your mod, must be something wierd with the conveyor system

I have change all my small cships with the new system. But after I just can conect to other stations and ships. But I cant unload my small ships. I deaktivate the mod and after I replace to old version all works fine for me. Pls, fix that problem with the unloading. Maybe its for SE itself or so.But still great looking and great work too.
