I've been looking for something to put next to my pools for so long. This is perfect.

It took me way too long to notice that the thrumbo has a pool noodle on their horn. It just looks like it fits! Very stylish, just missing the ability to add it in game as well (jk, I know enough about Rimworld modding to know that it wouldn't be simple). (`-´)b

@Rice Trispy - Are you using a mod that alters furniture rendering? This does not happen with an unmodded map renderer.

@Forest1395101 - Beach chairs count as solitary relaxation (same as cloudwatching) and the beach ball counts as dexterity play (same as billiards and horseshoes). If your colonists are bored of those joy types, then they aren't likely to engage with them.

None of my pawns are using the beach chairs or the beach ball, is that normal?

I'm assuming the pool noodle is to allow the thrumbo to headbutt the beachball without puncturing it.

Like the mod, but I was wondering if there's incompatibility with Expanded Furniture? I installed this mod first, then the expanded furniture mod and now there's no items in recreation anymore.

Just had a pawn "waste" an inspiration on a beach ball and now i have a legendary beach ball. I'm not even mad as i imagine, according to the lore, that rumors of this woundrous artifact are spreading accross the planet Haha.

No worries, I was sitting there just having a chill moment with the weather cycle enjoying the summer storm sounds and suddenly fire alerts. XD But yep on the chemfuel, my brain just read that as "plastic". it was still the highlight of the that session of the random stuff that happens in rimworld

I'm not sure if it's intended behavior or not, but apparently a bolt of lighting hit the beach ball and it went up like an explosive barrel. I can't stop laughing.

@BloodySteel @Runei - I think I found the issue, the update I just pushed should fix the issue of beach balls being invisible on game load until they're interacted with. Please let me know if you encounter any other issues!

I've noticed the beach ball thing as well. I'm not sure when it happens, but I think it's on reloading a save? It's hard to keep track if anyone is using it in the current colony, but I have watched a colonist use it early in the save, and then it "disappeared" till I moved it. Sometimes I wish i could force a colonist interact with a joy item to test it.

Nothing shows up in the logs but I do notice that if I reinstall the ball spot, the ball appears again

@BloodySteel - It shouldn't. Are you getting any errors when this happens?

I keep noticing that the balls disappear after a while but the ball spot remained, not sure if this is intended?

First, how did you make a permanent winter?

Second, so what? Just put them outside so your colonists can sit and wish it was on a beach. Or, use blue and carpets for water and make an artificial, indoor “beach”!
