I believe it needs an update, trees are taking over the mountains. Hope you can solve that easily! Thanks for the mod, it's a must to play. No CTD tho.

@RoRoTheWarlord As what faction? What settlement. What other mods are you using.
RoRoTheWarlord Jan 25 @ 4:50pm
For some reason i can't occupy skaven settlement even though they are in suitable climate
Madi92 Jan 21 @ 9:02am
Up.
Shatilov Dec 28, 2024 @ 4:55pm
The AI will still try to occupy red settlements and fail, and just stand there staring at it for multiple turns

I can confirm this issue, with this mod placed #1
Shatilov Dec 21, 2024 @ 11:40am
This needs an update as of Omens of Destruction v6.0, since new regions were added.
Vanir Dec 15, 2024 @ 11:36am
If possible, can you make the Dark Elves able to occupy some of the mountain towns in Nagarythe?

Thank you for the Mod
SinisterWeasel  [author] Nov 9, 2024 @ 7:03pm
Little change today: Festus and Kholek have mountain climate changed to suitable.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Oct 27, 2024 @ 9:03pm
Immortal Empires only I'm afraid. Any mods that add regions or other maps factions will not be able to occupy the new regions.
Zeyon Oct 21, 2024 @ 3:39am
Unfortanetly this mod is seemingly not compatiable with The Old World mod, but hopefully a comp patch will be available in the future!
SinisterWeasel  [author] Sep 7, 2024 @ 5:39am
Little update guys, have overrided a few little functions from the legendary grudge system. Now razing settlements will count towards completing legendary grudges both regions and provinces. Should allow Dwarves to complete all 10 with this mod.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Sep 7, 2024 @ 5:37am
Yes all elf factions can occupy the entire province of Nagarythe.
wolfFRdu64/Lounna Aug 15, 2024 @ 12:23pm
do nagarith also can occupie wasteland ? because nagarith is waste land in vanilla tww2 and 3
Madi92 Aug 9, 2024 @ 7:57am
Wow, thank your for your work!! : )

Yeah, we got a big hotfix, shouldn't take to much to fix up SFO tho.
I hope you can fix the comp issue with sfo and that its not that much hassle.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Aug 6, 2024 @ 3:12am
I think warhammers just been patched and sfo is crashing so I'll have to figure something out later.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Aug 6, 2024 @ 3:09am
Found it straight away. SFO mucks with settlement occupation options for wh3 factions. God knows why...
SinisterWeasel  [author] Aug 6, 2024 @ 2:58am
That's bizarre, I use SFO too and this is the first issue I've ever heard of. I'll check it out.
Madi92 Aug 5, 2024 @ 3:11am
Okay, just started a new campaign, only with RO and its good now, so its a mod compability issue sadly.

UI: Its SFO. Just tested, and with only SFO and RO i can occupy it.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Aug 4, 2024 @ 2:55am
Strange. I don't really have an explanation for you sorry, since it works fine on my end. There aren't really any mods that conflict with this unless they add new settlements or something.
Madi92 Aug 3, 2024 @ 3:32pm
Sorry for double.
I could settle the ruins also, but when i disable the mod, i see the climate preferences changing back to vanila, so the mod is working in a sense. As in vanila, the mountains are yellow, with your mod its red.
Madi92 Aug 3, 2024 @ 3:03pm
I just tried reinstall, but that didn't work. I can still capture it after sigeing.

Bigger mods im using are: SFO; Dynamic World; Simple Dynamic Settlements
SinisterWeasel  [author] Aug 2, 2024 @ 3:46am
Just tested with Ku'gath and couldn't occupy it. Did you capture after a battle or occupy ruins? I'd try reinstalling the mod.
Madi92 Jul 31, 2024 @ 3:48pm
Im playing as Ku'gath and i was able to capture/settle Flayed Rock(Mountain), which was supposed to be red for me.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Jul 31, 2024 @ 3:10am
Yeah that's one I could change if people request it. Justified it to myself as being corrupted by the chaos occupants beyond repair.
JaCrispy Jul 28, 2024 @ 12:55pm
The Empire cannot occupy Bronze Keep because its a mountain region, but its also an empire settlement
Madi92 Jul 3, 2024 @ 3:27pm
Thanks! ;)
Revelation Jun 25, 2024 @ 6:46am
Awesome!
SinisterWeasel  [author] Jun 25, 2024 @ 6:00am
Hi guys, mod updated for patch 5.1. As usual comment any issues down below. Main changes:
- Added Igerov and Plesk to the settlement pool, added in Shadows of Change after my last update.
- Vamps can now occupy frozen as unsuitable climate.
- New LL accounted for
Haven't played the new DLCs guys so if there are quests or something that need certain occupation options fixed lemme know :)
Vanir Jun 2, 2024 @ 12:03pm
@Xenos Yes for the most part,
Xenos May 14, 2024 @ 10:01am
Is this still working with 5.0 ?
Revelation Apr 26, 2024 @ 10:02am
"It'll probably only happen if I start using those mods." Understandable, you should give them a go :P maybe you'll love em lol
SinisterWeasel  [author] Mar 10, 2024 @ 10:36pm
@Beliar I think these settlements must have been added without me realising. I'll get it fixed.
Beliar Mar 10, 2024 @ 8:48am
Hi! While playing for Kislev, I found that I couldn't capture the cities of Plesk and Iger. Is this a bug or a feature? If this is a feature, then it is strange, because despite the proximity to the mountainous area, these settlements are not mountainous and are located in the provinces belonging to Kislev.
SinisterWeasel  [author] Feb 23, 2024 @ 2:57am
Nah sadly mods that add new regions won't work, I might get around to it some day but trust me when I say it's very painful to make submods for this. It'll probably only happen if I start using those mods.
emikorn Feb 18, 2024 @ 10:40am
I loved the TWW I way to colonize or conquer. Great mod. Is available also a IEE version? It doesn't work with new settlements.
KNOCK KNOCK IT'S ME, Big BIRB Jan 16, 2024 @ 3:44am
Sadly no
JOY BOY Jan 16, 2024 @ 3:22am
Will this work for the Old World campaign mod?
SinisterWeasel  [author] Jan 13, 2024 @ 9:25pm
@Sturlink yes that's right. The extra suitable climates for Ungrim and Grombrindal are to make their early campaign less crippling.
Sturlink Jan 13, 2024 @ 8:10pm
Are the dwarf climates work as intended? For Thorgrim and Belegar the only suitable climate is Mountain, while for Ungrim and Grombrindal it's Mountain, Frozen, Wasteland and Savannah.
KNOCK KNOCK IT'S ME, Big BIRB Jan 5, 2024 @ 2:42am
Amazing mod! Any chance to get a submod for the old world?
SinisterWeasel  [author] Jan 4, 2024 @ 3:45pm
@Stag King ah got you now. Yeah it's not something I can reasonably fix, different settlement interaction option.
Stag King Jan 4, 2024 @ 4:50am
I figured it was intended to not be fit for the empire, but the fact that you can still occupy it by returning it to hochland seems inconsistent
SinisterWeasel  [author] Jan 2, 2024 @ 2:36am
@Stag King that is intended. Myself I justify that by it being a mountain fort corrupted by nurgle and thus unfit for Empire, Elves etc. Also saves the work of making exceptions to the general climate restrictions. Unless it's required for quest etc I won't change it.
Stag King Jan 1, 2024 @ 2:42pm
Currently, this mod makes it so you can't occupy the brass keep unless you attack it while hochland is still alive, return it to the elector and then confederate them
SinisterWeasel  [author] Dec 23, 2023 @ 2:09am
@Farrarie unlikely to make another version for the moment. Way too much work unfortunately.
Farrarie Dec 22, 2023 @ 8:05pm
Can you make a more extreme version where you are not able to occupy orange settlement, and you will only be able to occupy the green ones and for all races, no exceptions
and don't change any climate preference
