The Minecraft mod pack is Authentic Skies Create. Just released in public beta on Curseforge. Went live yesterday. Haven't even done the public announcement yet.
Fargo's souls mod's focus is essentially a gigantic crafting tree resulting in one item, intended as a sort of way to collect the power of every aspect of terraria into that item bit-by-bit along normal progression. All content it adds is derived from vanilla items or NPCs or spawns in vanilla biomes; I don't think it adds any worldgen.
I'll be following your minecraft modpack :)
I did realize the sunken sea is available with current constraints once you beat queen slime: make tesla potions with blood orbs, shimmer em, and use the sea prisms to build the sunken sea. I didn't see any such route for the brimstone crag though, and anything related to the labs is completely off limits, including the exo mechs. I figure that'll be addressed in calamity itself when vanilla skyblock drops, and in the meantime i can just cheat in some brimstone slag and the lab schematics when i'm at the point to fight the brimstone elemental/exo mechs.
so with that in mind, you should totally check if calamity is loaded and make the brutal option give you Literally Nothing if it is :)
So far I've only gotten clouds, rain clouds, snow clouds, and copper coins out of the block.
