They are affected by Creatures of the Land and Ursun's Favored. As well as any skill / tech that affects the forest creatures for Ostankya's faction / Hag Mothers / Hag Witches. For example Wildlings

Tech and Skill issues mentioned earlier have been fixed.
Two new units for Mother Ostankya: Treeman and Arachnarok Spider

The only bump the new units get is from Fighting Shadows? They are not showing up under Creatures of the Land or Ursuns Favored , which if thats the case, makes them incredibly weak compared to the other forest creatures.

Not really a spriit unit but itd be cool if Mother Ostankya had a big "Brood Mother" spider and had a bound ability to spawn small spiders ( Hatchlings or Giant spiders ) and maybe gives a passive buff to nearby spiders

Hi, I want to use Herald's start position to have Ostyanka start in Plesk from the get to (disregarding CA's new dilemma). Unfortunately, this conflicts with your mod which I also want to use, with the custom hag hero who is stuck in Naggaroth.

Both the ability to recruit Hag mothers and to immediately start in Kislev are important for me for the real "Ostyanka" experience? Any chance you could consider this while updating your mod?

The upgraded version of the Summon Spirits spell doesn't summon Spirit Stags like it says, it just summons Dryads like the base spell.

Found a major conflict between The Motherland and this mod: since both of them have a script to kill off Ostankya's starting Hag to replace her with special versions, enabling these two together guarantees a script break at the start of a campaign.

Have you ever considered giving Mother Ostankya or the other hag witches an ability that lets them transform into a flock of crows (maybe using Calm's model or perhaps even the spirit crows from her cauldron) and travel about the battlefield? Either as a transformation or targeted teleportation ability? This is something Mother O does during her short story Things in the Woods that I always thought was just cool.

Specifically, the total list of the abilities she employs in that story includes:

Blanketing battlefields in mist with her cauldron

Possessing people in their sleep and speaking through them

Being immune to being stabbed through the heart

Transforming into a flock of crows

And controlling the weather to some extent (summoning rain/storms)

All of those are neat powers, but the crow transformation thing in particular really stood out to me. Just an idle thought. Maybe I'm too inspired by the Mother Miranda boss fight in RE 8 lol.

I keep saying Vampires could also greatly benefit from animal transformations as well, maybe I might work on making that a thing myself one day.

That looks like it will be bandaid fix, but it is very likely to break skills in game.

On the first screenshot on the bottom is what pings when there's an error, usually stops a mod from launching all together
Then the second screenshot I've highlighted where to navigate to, to find the lines to delete. Specifically you see line 364, the other is line 408. Again I stress I don't actually know what these do lol. But the mod launches.

@Firo if you could please tell me step by step where do I need to go to erase those lines, I would appreciate it. Tried to locate it myself but I am pretty stupid when it comes to Mods or computing. Just want to play some of the Campaigns that I have gotten pretty far & don't want to restart them from beginning. Thank you

@lordsali RPMF should spit out an error message for the affected lines. I don't remember which they were exactly, but they both had "type_5" in them somewhere.
One of them was around line 400 or so of the full .data file.

@Firo would you be able to quote which lines to remove? I opened the mod in notepad and deleted character_skill_node_set_items_table then re-saved, game still crashing unfortunately.

If anyone wants a fix to at least crashing on start up, the issue is with the values in the character_skill_node_set_items_table, two lines return an error according to RPFM and if deleted the game will launch without issue and load into saves with the hag mothers mod. I'm not playing Kislev atm though, so no idea what that'll do to the hag mothers. That said, if you've got other campaigns running but you're not playing Kislev, this at least lets you run the game + your campaigns.

Up on the crashes my game on start, now I can't continue the campaign I started with Mother Stanky and Empire, shame, will hopefully wait for update cause the mod was really fun
