@Terje: thanks for mod. Engine cannot be repaired to pristine. And is possible add chassis repair?
Terje Bruøygard  [author] Nov 3, 2024 @ 7:22am
@AXER is not possible due to technical limitations of the game.
AXER Nov 2, 2024 @ 5:04pm

repairing ruined would be awesome
DoubleEvilburger Nov 3, 2023 @ 9:49pm
It would be so good if it goes through config file, basically a whitelist. So, under m_kitRepairCostModifier could be something like this for example:

"FromRuined": ["item1","item2","item3","item4"]

Or, for every repairable item included something like this:

"FromRuined": [ ]

Just throwing some suggestions, i don't even know commands/syntax/calls... lol

Terje Bruøygard  [author] Oct 11, 2023 @ 5:02pm
@KingConrail to all steps
_KC76_ Oct 11, 2023 @ 12:19am
@Terje .. Does the "m_kitRepairCostModifier" apply to all condition steps, or ONLY to the Worn -> Pristine condition step? Thanks.
강철 Oct 9, 2023 @ 6:23am
Is there any way to make the worn repairable and if so, what should I fix?
DoubleEvilburger Sep 28, 2023 @ 1:39pm
This mod works perfectly in conjunction with other mods which enable some items to be repairable like car radiators, shovels, and hammers. They also CAN be repaired to pristine with this mod. Big plus.

Last but not least: big, and i mean BIG hats off to you for config file! I keep mine at 0.8 to have 5 uses for most of the repairing scenarios instead of 4. Perfectly balanced. (as all things should be) xD

Hi! First of, thanks for this mod! Now, onto the details.

I've done quite some testing and found that very few items are not being able to be repaired to pristine. They are Chainmail Coif, Chainmail (torso) and Chainmail Leggings, probably because the fixing tool for them are Pliers. Other medieval things like Chestplate, Norse Helm and Great Helm work perfectly, they can be repaired to pristine with BlowTorch.

As for the vehicles, only things not going to pristine are non-removable parts - bumpers, fenders, fuel tanks, roofs and engines. Tested with Humvee and Volga. That probably could be changed/updated but even if nothing changes further in this mod, it's near perfect as is. :)

@NVMX Adds an additional step that allows you to repair an item from worn to pristine condition.
Dragonborn Sep 27, 2023 @ 3:38am
I'm a little confused as to the wording, sorry. Does this add an additional repair step after worn and to pristine or does this make all repairable items automatically go to pristine when you perform a single repair action on it?
FIBER Sep 26, 2023 @ 8:23pm
Thanks Terje!
Terje Bruøygard  [author] Sep 26, 2023 @ 4:01pm
@FIBER, fixed
FIBER Sep 26, 2023 @ 12:05pm
I tested it here, unfortunately it's not working on the vehicle, it doesn't turn completely green.
BåŦýã Sep 25, 2023 @ 9:33pm
And there is a similar mod for what I could use on my server, which will repair clothes, armor, construction, axes, saws, weapons to the state of untouched
Terje Bruøygard  [author] Sep 25, 2023 @ 11:50am
yeap, its working for all vehicle parts what you can fix (wheels, doors, etc)
FIBER Sep 25, 2023 @ 7:35am
Does it work on vehicles?
