@ pro drawer reenaction of laws and acts does not necessarily equate to fulfillment of the entire law, and the main points of the quebec act were in the quebecois' favor. the quebec act reaffirmed the free practice of catholicism and no longer required canadiens to renounce their catholic faith in order to participate in provincial governance. it also reestablished french law for private law, instead of private law. also of course, the land grants of the ohio valley to the province of quebec.

so with this i think "Re-enact the Quebec Act" is a fitting name for the decision

i thought the quebec act was something the british did to get the quebecois to not fight against them in any wars
