Very neat mod, would it be possible to completely disable the trail effect?
Even if you know how to do it in the files, something I can edit etc

I love the mod! I wish I discovered this a long time ago.

I did notice a few issues using it. Every time I use a quest shuttle to travel to an ancient complex, I get the error "tried to spawn GEG_EyeGlowMote in null map". Here's a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/WtGDGsb.png . It's pretty minor, but annoying enough.

In 1.6, if you have a pawn in water, the glow effect doesn't match where the eyes are. Here's a screenshot to demonstrate: https://i.imgur.com/vpihAdn.png . Very noticeable if you're playing a water-based colony.

Has the latest update fixed the differing body size offset bug? That is literally the only reason I don't use this mod more often.

The mod is broken on 1.4, biotech wings/jumps not working, also had an error spamming, and Rimpy showed this:

Updated to 1.6

for both 1.5 and 1.6:
Added mod setting to make player controlled colonists eyes only glow while drafted
Eyes will now not glow when cut out, and can be cut out individually
Added white and noctol yellow genes

Hello! I really like the Glowing Eyes genes mod, but I noticed that the eyes look a bit small. Would it be possible to adjust the eye size to match the original red eye style? I think a larger size, similar to the vanilla red eyes, would look great. Thanks for considering this!

this is cool but on bigger pawns (from bigger and smaller genes) the eye glow is below the eyes, where it would go on a normal size pawn. it probably does the same for small pawns but idk. Is there a way to fix this or a patch maybe?

I have a bug when loading the planet (only my settlement will spawn). Because of this mod, the game simply becomes unplayable. What mod can there be a conflict with?

I wasn't able to manage that last time I tried, but I've learned an astronomical amount about rimworld modding since then, so I may give it another try at some point. It won't be immediate, though, as I've got a bunch of other stuff I want to work on first.

This mod is absolutely fantastic, I love the extra kick it gives pawns.

But I have noticed that the mote and fleck effects do not have offsets adjust to a pawn with non-standard size, as is found in gene mods like Outland, Alpha Genes, and Big and Small, so the eye glow effects render in the wrong place on the pawn when using a body size offset.

Is there any way that can be fixed?
From what I can tell, the vanilla GeneEyeColor class already has something that makes an offset adjustment for eyes that inherit it, could the location of the mote origin be dynamically assigned to wherever the eye gets drawn?

the glowing eyes appear to be misplacedc when using facial animation with the pawn facing left or right... resulting you seeing both the original eye and the glowing eye

damn... me thinks however... il still subscribe to this one just in case it gets to work properly with HAR too, ive been wanting glowing eyes on my regular colonists ever since i saw them on the androids mod, even more so since biotech came out with the gene system xD

This does work with Facial animations, however the glow does not quite fit the position of the eyes of facial animations

Can you make another variant of each of the eye genes that make them start glowing only when the pawn is in a tile below a certain light level, so it would be like some of the eyes only glow when in the dark.

The effect is great. It would be better if it could be adapted to NL's body shape and face. When I use it at the same time, my eyes will appear on my chest. If it can't be adapted, I hope there is a MOD setting to adjust their offset.:steamhappy:
