how easy or how many files to i have to edit to add a faction myself unless you can add aegis and aegis based factions

@pSiko english is not my primary language so probably i'm missing something.
i have liberation altis + lrx template + pedagne mod and when i start the mission in lan the mission fail because i do not have asz_italy (wich is pedagne), this is why i ask if is disabled.
now i have download the cup weapon etc but still don't work, same message.

@delmaster69: yes you also need to install the 'real' mod on client/server

this mod only define which 'template' (units, vehicles) will be used in LRX

it do not install the mod itself (cup, rhs, 3cb, etc, etc)

@pSIKO: hey pSIKO i already have that mod but when i start the mission the error say that i am missing some mod. Do i also need the cup or 3cb faction?

seems like for some reason despite using the prairie fire presets it spawns in UAVs and other modern stuff, i think this also happens to other presets but i am not 100% certain

I've separated the configuration (LRX_Template) from the LRX mission engine with this in mind.

Adding your own template is very simple; you'll find documentation on our Discord.
No scripts are required: a notepad and Arma Eden are enough.
You can create a player camp, an enemy camp, or both.

Once your template is complete, share it with us so it can be integrated into the LRX_Template mod.

@pSiKO it does not even let me go to the lobby at all. Just tries to run the game, then says Mission failed, continue or disconnect

Ok, what if it doesnt take me to a lobby it just runs the game?

@MFd00m1775: when you are on lobby (as admin), go to Parameters and choose:

reset Settings
open settings

if a savegame exist also select
wipe save game + confirmation

So when i changed the factions then did a restart, when I load the mission it just says mission failed and tells me to disconnect or continue. Now i cant play it, just says disconnect or continue after loading

be nice to see the Aegis and Atlas factions added

I dont get it. I have on server RHS and 3CB factions. I cant play with RHS malden defence forces and Takistam forces.

Also,Rayan Zombies & Demons need to redone, because five squads with 2 - 3 Smashers it's to much! Especialy when playing solo.

Could you add factions from Faces of War? Also, all RHS team factions mods?

Also the LR factions, Ukraine and whatnot

if not, maybe a modder will create it for you or ,even better, will teach you how to add new template

Hey @pSiKO, I've been wondering. Is there a possibility to add in new factions? like say the UCN from the mod The Kuiper Engagements or factions from the Scion Conflict mod etc. I see that TIOW and OPTRE is on here so I figure I'd ask if its possible.

this message mean, you are trying to start a mission without the needed mod installed/loaded on client and/or server side.

to check which mod is needed by a faction (ussally only one, but some template use more) check the Faction channel in our Discord (https://discord.gg/HccbCFrT)

Im getting issues with 3CB factions Takistan National Army.
This is what im getting

"Sorry, An error occured On Server startup please check the error logs
Fatal Invalid Side selection

Missing MOD addon for side West (RHS_USAF) or East (3CB_TNA_OPF)
Loading aborted to protect data integrity Correct the side selection or add needed addons."

Im not entirely sure what it all means. RHS works as intended when doing RHS USAF vs AFRF then it works.

But when loading any type of 3cb faction related mods it will not work. Does Liberation RX use addons from other 3cb mods to complete the factions list?

Same issue accurs when doing ArmA 3 NATO vs 3cb Takistan. same errors same issues.
Idk what to do. Thanks if anyone has a response!

Why do you have 300 mods on? Only need mods for the factions your using, no wonder why your game doesn't start

After a few updates ago every LRX scenario doesn't boot up with this mod. It's just
"...Please Wait... ...Building the Arsenal..." endless, hours.
So I think that might be over 300 mods. Just disable them one by one, classic. And now, after days, scenario doesn't boot with just CBA and ace . Disable just one ace and the scenario, finally, start.

Or if you private dm me I can walk you through changing vme out for cup

You should add the CUP People's Liberation Army (China). The VME PLA doesn't mix well with any other mods. I want to do a China vs Generic Tropical Island country playthrough.

Say, I tried using the Ryan zombies and demons faction as opfor and no matter what I do it doesn't seem to spawn anything
Is there a particular setting I need to set or is that particular faction currently unavailable?

One uses the Ukraine faction project mod as there blufor in it, rhs Ukraine is project opfor which is an opfor faction, reason why there's both is so that you could play as either Russia and Ukraine and fight each other as it was not possible at the time with out mission to do same side fights, it is now though if you use a version from github
