You forgot to assign a Gene Tag Black List to your Race that excludes the tag named "Fur". Otherwise, you'll have to make Body Type Sprites for that Gene: it would be "FurCovered_Hulk_east", and so on. The VFE version would be "BarkSkin_Hulk_east" and so on.
It would be awesome to add support for that, but the easiest thing to do would be to add the "Fur" Gene Tag to a black list.
Also, the only good cat-girl Xenotype is obviously the one from the Neko-Arc Mod: https://www.steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2953392432 .
Not slander, and not on Biotech itself, vanilla systems were aways rather limited by themselves..per tynan minimalistic design, except now the community is surrendering to it, rather than building upon it.
They also usually look awfull. Compared to the lowest of the Lowest-Effort HAR species, and people have been spamming them in the workshop, together with people pestering HAR creators to make "Muh biotech" versions (Not referring to dvh down here but you know the types) are probably discouraging race modders.
i am already seeing much less HAR uploads and i am afraid and sad that we might loose good content in place of low-effort fodder. I was so excited that biotech would bring a new layer of cool to the workshop, but so far it has mostly been detrimental. Im no buddy to Erdelf but races from the framework can mostly just do...more.
Well, I semi-agree. I like xenotypes a bit more than HAR, but only if they add more genes! Because then you can mix and match different species features, and it's more cross-compatible.
But, in many cases, people put xenotypes that use either vanilla or other mods xenogenes, in which case (most of) the time, it's just annoying and redundant!
Not another of this xenotype spam Trash.
@Sir Luis Doesn't really fit thematically as darklings are supposed to be a mix between a human and a dark young one from H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos.
@ItsJeromeme No idea, but might try adding a patch for it, if they have support for multiple eyes. If not, then I would probably have to add that compatibility myself, which I do not have the skills for.
