I am clearing out my mods and getting rid of unsupported mods, this being one of them.

The source might be gone. However I see SEModder4 asking to jump in with a DX11 version. There is still hope.

im wondering that myself as the author has yet to post any updates on the forum about it. though, having a baby is a LOT to deal with from what i hear. though, grats on the child. :D

Hey peeps! Autor here, been a while, reasone had a baby boy with my fiance, good reason though. bad new is thought lost all my source for my mods. But not to fear, I am redoing all my mods in beautiful DX11 with even crisper textures and better normals.

It's easy to do the DX-11 upgrades, I could do them pretty quickly :)

we need dx11 stairs... anyone lookoing at this, please take it upon yourself to make epic stairs >.< XD

I suspect a -lot- of mods are dead on the workshop due to neglect.
So, it's time to move on...un-subscribe and let's make some new ones to replace em :)

You would think that with over 90,000 subscribers over the total of all six of H8Nation's mods that someone would have contacted him to take over his mods so that they can be updated.

This modder hasn't updated any of the six mods that they created since August of 2014 and hasn't recently even been on SE so I think its safe to say that all of H8Nation's mods are dead. Perhaps the modder is waiting for Keen to finish development of the game, but I suspect it is just lack of intrest in SE that is to blame.

I love using these stairs. Is there any chance of them getting updated?

there seems to be a *slight* lip when stacking multiple stairs together, sometimes when i walk up a flight of stairs, i get stuck and have to jump to continue.... seems to only happen sometimes, but enough to be annoying. only seems to be an issue when you make stairs more than 1 block high though.

any chance of getting versions with arm rails? preferably rails that match the vanilla asthetic (unlike most stairs i've seen). safety is important in space :)

These are really nice! Couple of things I'd like to suggest: alter the component costs (right they are the same as a stock interior block IIRC), maybe include a few girders as the base?

Also, perhaps another build stage, consisting of just the two support struts, no steps? If you could make it so that you can't walk up them but had to at least have the steps appear that would really boost realism!

i like your mod it is a very good mod anyway i was wondering if anyone would like to play with me just do a friend request than we can start building ships cause im getting board of playing by my self and going on a server than getting all my stuff destroyed and stole ya you can tell why i just want one of you people who wont just kill me as soon as he gets on anyway hopefully someone with space engineers send aa friend requesst and ill accept and than we can play together.

Love your stairs. A must have for aesthetic station designs. How about stairs with left/right/left+right handrails?

They look awesome... but they dont actualy function as stairs. You sort of just fall down them and there is no going up.

can you possibly make 1x1x2 angled blocks so i dont have to use ramps and angled glass for shapes? i wish i could do it but, i aint got the smarts to do it XD

Works excellently as 1x1x1 stairs rather than the clunky 1x3x2 originals. I look forward to seeing an elevator! I've an idea for a piston elevator that goes as high as you set it up to be, but it's spacious and involves a lot of button-pushing, and also the risk you might be smashed between two pistons. And I can't do mods.

Updated, and an elevator is on the horizon.
