DUDE slay! keep up the great work, this is the kind of mod project ive been DYING for to be in the game. I would love more content/areas to explore in the game as ive seen it all.

Cant wait to experience the revised/completed version when it eventually comes out :) Keep it up dude! When your mod finishes ill do another full playthrough <3 :pug:

Okay folks, I’m getting close to my goal of getting a solid update onto this mod. Please take a read at the upcoming changes discussion when you have some time. Be in mind, the upcoming changes are simplified. Would run out of room if I described it all

Once I’m finished with Fort Joy on the unstable branch, this mod will be updated to the same point.

Hey there, the mod certainly should be available in your mod list. However, this mod is temporarily down for the moment. If you wish to use the mod, you're far better off using the unstable version for now, which the link is posted above in the description. Make sure to read the descriptions for more info.

I can't move to the dock Red Prince starts in like there's some impassable terrain could it be some mod conflict?

For a while ago to now and until the first update, the main mod is broken. Please do not use it for now until this mod's upcoming update.

The unstable mod version is publicly available for all now. There, I'll be putting the majority of my focus into that until it becomes ready for an update to this mod.

Okay, so good news now. The fixed content that I've progressed through now should be publicly released after thanksgiving. After that update, updates for THIS mod will become rarer.

Aha, do not fear. I will soon be making an experimental mod page that will contain the constant new updates and fixes. That mod page will be where all of the new stuff is and remains. When that content becomes stable and proper, it'll be brought here.

This new change of pace will fix a lot of annoyances with players with constant, yet seemingly random updates that can screw with your save files. That and bugs popping out of nowhere despite it being just fine last night when you were last playing. Less headaches for all

I'll paste the link for the unstable build after thanksgiving in the mods description. Be aware, thanks to the fuckfest that is Fort Joy. I've had to downgrade edits for the Fort Joy level because of limits. Other than that, it's all good

Ah, it's a debug atmosphere I used in the games editor to better take screenshots. It removes shadows and lighting so the map is far easier to see. Having a screenshot being 75% shadows wouldn't work for people to see anything.

If you're interested, you can use the atmosphere as well if you unpack this mod via a tool and make some changes in the games editor

I mean the blackness in sky in background, as default it has blackness and no sky, but you have blue sky background, how did you do it?

Yeah, I’m in contact with some vet modders about Madek. No freaking clue how he just randomly started spawning at the start of the game.

But for the issues with can’t enter certain areas, there’s a problem with the grid pathing atm. The mod is currently on hold, as I’m working hard trying to fix it with some help.

This mod looks very interesting! So I started my first "test run" today.
I have the same problem with Madek as michael. Madek is just there, right from the start and I can't dismiss him. I also can't enter the area behind Sahelia's camp where the frogs are.
FYI: I don't have any additional mods installed.

I played a vanilla game with no mods except Norbyte script extender installed which does not appear as a mod on the mod menu list. Madek appeared in The Hold right away and won't go away. I tried killing him on the ship but his "ghost" spawned on the beach at Ft Joy. Honestly he was pretty useful in The Hold when trying to maximize XP. I don't think my single character would have won all of the fights in The Hold without his help (playing at Tactician). But once I arrive at the beach on Ft Joy he is redundant :) .

Wait, he’s still spawning? Are you using a mod to skip the tutorial hold or are you playing through the hold normally? Because for some reason, skip tutorial mods seem to cause him to spawn. I’ll check his scripts again and I’ll see if I can fix it

aha, yeah. That was actually an inspiration for the early dock for the Red Prince. I am looking to expand so it looks a lot better and not so utterly crowded

Hey, I appreciate the comment so thank you. I’ll be back on the computer early October and I’ll jumpstart the project with the grid pathing issue solved first. How long that would take, maybe a week or few? That depends on how complicated it is to fix and if any other problems arise within it. If the problem lies of having to remove or redo some new changes to the map, that’s more complicated but shouldn’t take longer.

Anyhoo, the time to finish this mod fully? Maybe a year or at least seven months? The game is pretty damn big so there is a lot of edits to do.

As a quick update so yall don't think this mod is abandoned. I'm actively researching every little bit about how to fix this grid pathing problem. I strongly suggest you disable this mod until it's properly fixed so you can actually play the game. Will keep yall in the loop when I've fixed it

Apologies for late reply but no, I had just tested earlier and the grid pathing is broken for me too when playing the actual game and only two mods enabled are cheat commander and this one. So it's def a me problem and not the users issue. Considering this, I'm scouring for the answer to fix this.

The question I have that you hadn't answered yet that I've asked is this: does it work fine *for you?*, if you were to test the mod the same way I have been doing, does it work for you?
I want to know if this is just a me problem and not a problem with the mod on your dev end.

Just to make sure, do you have the Norbyte Osiris Extender installed and if so, is it updated to the latest ver? Do you have any other mods enabled other than LeaderLib and this mod?

I'll get back to the drawing board for this, the AI grid for this game has an infamous history for mods

This time I went through the ship normally but the result was still the same. I even turned off Leaderlib and I still can't walk over the new areas.

I SWEAR I must be doing something very wrong here...

Oh, and the mini map in this update was reverted back to previously, so it no longer shows your changes.

And those videos don't talk much effort, Gyazo is a neat little tool that lets you require part of your screen and upload it to your account on their site; you get up to 7 seconds with a free account.
