Can confirm what Perch mentioned. Using this mod impacts the tech tree. In my case it removes the ability to research the Truck & Mechanized line and the Armored Car line of tech.

you should make an alternate version, where instead of having to do research for it and it appearing in the research tab, it appears in the decision tab and you can unlock it through a decision that can post political power, command power, or army XP. That way, it can work for most mods.

@eddieGT i tried it with Kaiserreich with Bulgaria and worked pretty well as a shock troop when attacking urban tiles :)

@Alaen i don't know if it would work considering that the technology is only available in 1936. It might also cause glitches too

@KonfigPL That is something i'll have to look into since i have no experience in modifying the No Step Back Tank Designer. But i think with some more modding practice, i can pull it off. We'll see

@FranzStigler1 I just played Magna Europa Uploaded and i think it would be an easy task. All i would need to do is modify the unit by a percentage like how the normal infantry divisions are

@scott voigts Thanks! I was surprised that this mod blew up. I wasn't expecting it because the original mod had been gone for so long that only veteran players would've been aware of such a mod existing. Looks like that didn't matter however.

@Beowulf It is OP. The only catch with the Shock Troops is that they use more supply and take like 8-9 months to train. But if you're patient and know how to use logistics, the shock troops become a great economic alternative to tanks
