I have a group of 10 or so dudes who all play together on official. We've been looking for a smaller map so we can play solo against each other and this map is perfect. I went into my build expecting to spend hours making adjustments to get the server to run as intended. I am by no means an expert and it took me less than 1 hour. Server launched successfully on the first attempt. Option settings replaced, and boom, minefields. I spent hours trying to get 3rd party maps to work but BATTLESQUATCH has done all of work for you. This map is amazing. Cannot recommend more.

@gnarlyCrone - Thank you so much! Personally, it's really encouraging to hear that the map works well for solo players and stays interesting/fun even if no other players are around. I'll try to keep it going with the next update. :)

As a 76 yr old female gamer, I can no longer happily compete with other players. My reactions are just too slow. However, I can still work my way through the infected. I just wanted to thank you for making this map. I host my own solo server on my pc and I am having an absolute ball on this map. It is very different from the others I have played and I am surprised at almost every turn. I love the trails, the different assets, etc. etc. So thank you.

Windstride's is still a dependency. The server doesn't work without it.

@GetRekt - There are Windstrides reskins packed into the mod. It'll be removed as a dependency in a future update, once I separate them into a separate optional mod.

Why would you make windstrides a dependancy? Weirdest sht I've ever seen from a map dev.

@Koalaaa - You could join the Anastara or LXD discord and ask, I'm sure he'd be happy to help. You can turn the storm off in the mission files and just use normal weather, but keeping the storm and removing stamina drain from it will require and override I think.

Hello, how to prevent stamina from dropping to 0 during a storm? lxd weather is probably responsible for this.

@Shroom I am the guy who did accuse Bitterroot of lifting ideas from my map (and probably others), instead of just trying. I am also the guy who privated the video instead of deleting it, because I said what needed to be said and now it's over. This is a beautiful map with a unique look and feel. I've started a third server of my own only to present it to my players and to experience it. Thank you so much for all the hard work that went into it, this is definitely an outstanding DayZ map.

Hello again. I have verified that the vehicle events are prepared with just the right information to be able to appear. I mean that, for example, the possible spawn points, there are only 2 established for 2 vehicles of each type, that is, they ALWAYS APPEAR IN THE SAME PLACE, the truth is, I don't like it very much because it makes it very easy to get A vehicle. And on the other hand, the ADA don't even have spawn points, they don't exist with the default map configuration.

I can do it manually but logically it takes work... I wonder if anyone here has added the ADA and if they have also added more possible spawn points for all the vehicles to generate randomness, if they have done this work and could share the code I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

Well, I have already seen that it is actually not necessary for the map to work... and I also saw on github that it was taken as something "optional". Thanks all the same.

I have another question, I have seen that the night vision in the bunker does not work well when it is daytime... is there any tiggers file out there to correct that and make it work well? Thank you.

@loki - You can try the map on our dev server 24/7, we don't do limited playtests. Search for Anastara Dev Server via DZSA. The map is not ready for public release to server owners yet, but will be as soon as possible.
