@CorrinRoth CA literally already did that in one of their blog posts, they did a big list of all of the modders who made stuff that anticipated what CA made for Tides of Torment (the list mentions Cataph and this mod), and said;

"With Tides of Torment (and the accompanying free updates), we would like to take a moment to thank those in the modding community who have, in some way, implemented ideas that we are exploring with this next update.

Thanks again for the awesome work! We've tried to compile a list of names to give a shoutout to - apologies if we didn’t catch everyone!"

They are working off the same source material that modders are, if you actually compare the two different version of Aislyn to the art from the WFRP Sea of Claws book, you can see that they are both different takes on that original art (CAs helmet for Aislyn is more accurate to the art, while Cataphs wins the accuracy contest with the dagger)

Love this mod. I hope this mod continues to be supported; I think the starting position, the mechanics, and the faction are great. Perhaps another existing High Elf leader could be used as a replacement? It would be a shame if this mod were to disappear.

If you're open to suggestions, I personally would love to see CA!Aislinn have your Storm Dragon swapped in for his generic Star Dragon. I love the concept of storm dragons in fantasy and thought it was very thematic and helped distinguish him from Imrik.

@jimmymenNL Yes! that's what I hope Cataph does and it's lore accurate to replace Aislinn with Dalloran of Cothique. Whatever u do Cataph we will respect your decision.

Worry not Cataph for whatever you decide you will always be known and respected as a premier modder.

Thank you so much for such an amazing mod that complemented the sea side of the High Elves. As many said, we will respect your decision if you want to leave it un updated or whatever you decided. Although I feel there is still room for this mod as an unit expansion for Aislinn as many of these units complement deeper the faction.

Part this out to a unit pack for all high elves, a lord reskin, and a full version to replace cothique or something? I know thats ALOT of work but I adore this mod and feel like a dev did too and thats why they ended up putting their own style in the game. You did THAT good of a job.

Maybe change the LL but keep it for Cothique? I dont think there's any mod out there that give Cothique LL.

Aww i liked Cothique but i really dont want to pay for it. Part of playable ulthuan without any money to throw at it got smaller :(

I just woke up from a dreadful 14h headache, but I'll try to decide in the coming day and days whether I'll leave it be, update, or make a redux version.

I'll first have to check out what vanilla Sea Patrol actually plays like, and while I don't like the idea of overhauling it there are things like their sea company that I really don't like.

@PapaEnclave I think most of us would love that in general, but to add it to the Warhammer franchise they'd need the Dreadfleet rights, which GW hasn't given them. Naval combat in the Warhammer world was its own separate game with its own separate license.

I hope CA will bring naval combat back

with the update maybe rename him so we still have this delightful mod!

hopefully this will be converted when the dlc comes out and the generic lords become heroes.

Can't seem to get the "truesilver ram" feature to work. Doesn't show up anywhere.

I have played this mod in WH2, but haven't played it in WH3 yet.
Will this mod got delisted after the Tides of Torment DLC?

Agreed. Can you change yours to a minor faction by Mixu or something? This is a fantastic mod and the thought of a horde HE lord is marvelous. Maybe can modify some but please dont delete this mod!

Man, your LL for Cothique was my first campaign leader, favorite of previous part of WH, if they launch CA's Aislinn, please don't delete yours, just move him to Elithis or new minor HE faction

One of the best mods since WH2 is now soon to be a dlc.I would not surprise if they took your mod, and edit a bit. Trust C.A, it gonna worth the delay.

I'm almost mad about them deciding to do Aislinn, even though we all knew it was coming; this mod has been *iconic* and defining. They're going to have to work hard to rival what we've all grown accustomed to.
