the saxton punch is really good it feels so good to use with the big red fist of pain to them

imo this is one of the best maps in the roster for VSH due to the size of the map snugly accomodating a full-capacity server and the many areas you can be in to fight Hale. I really like how well designed this map is that gives both Saxton players and Red players more freedom and room to breathe.

I noticed that the "-40% damage penalty" that is on all Miniguns is not stacking correctly with the Natascha and Huo-Long Heater (unless this is intentional). Both of the penalties for these weapons (Natascha, -25% & Huo-Long Heater, -10%) are being changed to -40%, instead of stacking the -40% on top. I would suggest instead of applying the normal "damage penalty" attribute, you should use "damage bonus HIDDEN" (#476).

Hi, I had this really cool idea I'd like to share regarding the gamemode, but not the map itself.

I noticed Hale's model has a bodygroup that hides his hat. Would be possible to make so that when he dies, the bodygroup changes to his "no hat" value, and a Saxton (the cosmetic item) drops from Hale, in a similar fashion to how it happens on classes?

The rounds go on forever in casual mode.

I really do hope they figure out why it's crashing in Casual. Seeing this gamemode get into the game fully reignited my love for TF2, and I'd love to be able to play it on official servers.

how do i become saxton hale on my own

Valve is currently investigating why it crashes casual servers, if you want to play the VSH maps for the time being try finding a community server running them, as it should be functional on community servers

This map for some reason has a problem where i can't even go on it unless i set mat phong to 1.

I'm hoping that these maps get added back into casual. There is so much hard work and effort the team is putting into this.

Congrats on the release! I am curious about the voice lines added for the mercs in this gamemode though. Who did you get to voice them and I'm curious as to the trigger for these voice lines in game. If this is listed somewhere, sorry if i missed it.

Goated. Absolutely. I used to play on Freak Fortress and VSH back in 2017-2018, and very fond of the gamemode. This, however, is a legit great addition to the official rotation just because how polished it is. How would it feel too see VSH in offical tab of gamemodes? Great achievemnent, Lizard and everyone else who worked on this!
