Try to take a jukebox and plant it on your base to start party dancing!
Thank you for quick response!
I'm currently using the new version (Angry's Lifestyle)
Thank you for such a nice mod!
Go download Angry's Lifestyle mod, as this mod was an early access for current official version
Do not use this mod unless you are using a previous version of Lifestyle
What does meditation level 10 buff do?
Absolute peace
It's good to get rid of obese negative perk. It will lower weight.
If you're using last version of Lifestyle you don't need this mod, it is included on newer ver.
Description has been changed to say it's not need with the newest update
I'll be keeping this here anyways for those who uses previous version
As this mod was made as an early update, maybe he included the feed in the new version
This mod feeds and hydrate slowly and also let you meditate while using bags when you are over level 2 meditation.
We are still fixing and balancing the rates, does it feed/hydrate you enough, too low or too much? All feedback is appreciated. Thank you
*yeah it's very good for away-from-civilization games, however the main idea is to extend meditation sessions w/o being interrupted by hunger/thirst
(also IRL meditation masters testify they feed from energy during meditation, so this make the mod more realistic)
(but it won't nourish you so be sure to get some food, from time to time, to raise weight)
*love the mod btw it's extremely useful on wilderness playthroughs.
A "Monk" profession and/or trait that gives several bonus upon meditation...
Thanks!
But yeh, maybe a buff for reducing panic. Maybe a "too small" buff to the nearby allies.
i.e. reduces 20% panic to self and 5% to ally in a 100m radius
If you happen to think about a buff or adding that would fit in a realistic meditation that'll be nice.
Also for the music part of the mod. It is already polished and works fine to reduce panic and such, but if you experiment with it and something comes up :)
A defence buff / attack buff / focus buff for sharper shooting or buff to make you be able to run faster or longer or both, the possibilitys are endless thats really good idea you have.
I look forward to see where your creatively leads you as its always nice to see creative minds expanding further on the things that can be done so well done and all means take your time with your work as the good things come to the ones who wait as they say :D.
And of course i'd like that buff moodle idea for sure any addition to this mod is more then welcome :).
It will be included in the new update, at that moment I'll simply unpublic this to prevent malfunctioning.
So now is the testing ground!
Meditation heals the wounds?
Yea maybe... we want the meditation skill to be balanced, not "a must" but something useful if you decide to invest your points on it.
I'm thinking to add a moodle for meditation, for it to cause you gain less panic during some time after meditation. Would you like that?
It's like: 1hour meditation => gain a 2 hours buff to reduce panic income for 20%
Feel free to share new ideas if you'd like meditation to do something else.
Could heal you if you badinage up and at 50% hp doing meditation could slowly heal your health bar a % over X amount of time and increases to a higher % over a shorter time but end result to max meditation would have a decent % say 35% max every 2 minutes but the lowerest could be.
5% every 5 minutes and every time you gain a skill point it cuts down 35 seconds and incress then % gained by X amount per skill level :).
Regardless you opened a can of worms with this mod so it will be fun to see how far it can go.
Now it is something "secondary" for the most "attention drawing" is the new feature of feeding.
While I was playing I saw the meditation skill is okay but lacked of realism. I'm master meditator and I know this would happen to a high level meditator, but a person who start meditating will not notice because it is "feeding" you a low quantity. So this is more for a long-term game since is at level 9 you will feed a substantial quantity, therefore it has no high impact on the gameplay: at long games you will have enough food and drinks...
I'm sure this can seem strange to you if you're not a master meditator hehehe
This makes meditation more valuable and usable, as you will raise level faster (until level 4) and lets you meditate longer because you don't have to eat as much as usual.
Good luck reaching level 9 or 10, where the feeding is positive (meaning you would gain -10% hunger per meditated hour)
Basically you slow down or slowly decrease your "feeling of hunger", because that's what "hunger" meter in Zomboid is, while your body still loses weight unless you eat something real.
It's a VERY clever usage of game mechanics, bravo CristoElMago
At level 2 you start "feeding" but the feed is so slow that you will only notice your hunger is not raising so much as normally. You will start raise the food level in level 9 and 10, and still is a very slow feed. Also you don't get nutrition, so if you don't eat real food in a while you will start losing weight.
We wanted to make it more realistic. Worldwide known meditators has said that they feed from energy in meditation, but don't expect a low level meditator to be such good...
Or am i reading this wrong? XD but nether the less any extra sim like mods are welcome in my books its just a odd one i must say and odd one in deed :)
