this one broke my 1.5 load... kinda wish this one was upgraded.... sad... I really liked this and hope that it can be updated for 1.5 properly... the retexture is already set for 1.5.

For those who want dryads to be able to use regular beds:

1. Go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2958123708\1.4\Defs\ThingDefs_Races

2. Locate AlienRace_Dryad.xml

3. Open it with notepad++ (find and download if you don't have it)

4. Locate and delete this strings:
<validBeds>
<li>DryadSleepingSpot</li>
<li>DryadSleepingSpotDouble</li>
</validBeds>

5. Save and enjoy

sooooo probably a big ask...... but any way to make them able to do nature meditation as a default? maybe through backstories or something. feel free to ignore this comment if you don't feel like making the change. thank for continuing this mod. it has always been one of my favorites.

@terrofex I'm already playing with them, they give dependency warnings because they're still linked to the old mod but because the defs appear to be all the same it's been working well so far

Playing with ideology, the limbs work fine but the embedded seeds don't count as natural parts which makes the non-dryad members of my colony complain about them (due to Body Modification: Only Natural precept)

@Visoth There is little I can do with that info. It just fails to find a name for a new Dryad. If you can replicate the error with a minimum mod-list and provide a full log I might be able to find out what the error is

So on my colony focused around this mod, there has been a recurring error that started showing itself nearly 3 years in. It causes the game to slow down to half-speed during combat (when it occurs, which is not every fight, but sometimes)

I wanted to thank you Mlie for updating this mod to 1.4

This mod allows for one of my favorite tribal playthrough. I was really bummed that the mod was let go from the original author. I'm currently a year into a new playthrough and having a blast.

Regarding Corpse-Revenants, I found something that may or may not be a bug/unintentional.

If you create a Corpse-Revenant from a dead body (Dryad Seed + Corpse). The resulting Revenant will not be trained at all. When activated, it won't be useful in combat as it cannot defend itself, only flee from enemies.

Maybe this is intended, and you're supposed to train them up before a fight. But in my opinion, having them activated fully trained as "on demand dispensable soldiers who can be awoken in the heat of battle" would be better for their role in a colony.

How does this interact with the biotech dlc? Can dryads have the regular xenotypes, ie hussar, impid etc? Is dryad a xenotype?

Hey mlie, the use comp on the dryad body item doesn't seem to be working
I get a cast exception and nothing happens
I had to update the one I had in one of my mods when 1.3 updated, so maybe something broke?
