You can add it in the Mods field of PluginLoader.
Press the + button in the lower right corner.

It's a good idea but it gets in the way of aiming too much, can you make it togglable on a hotkey? If I remember right, it was T to toggle that view in the actual KSP mod that did this.

Aha! I found that the default sync distance of 3km causes the bugs. You have to go into the world files and update that as well as the view distance for this mod to work.

I'm not able to reproduce any issues with view distances from 5-50km (last patch addressed incorrect symbols if view dist < 10km)

can anyone tell me how to solve one problem with this mod? Instead of the prograde symbol, a second retrograde symbol identical to the first is displayed

The deceleration info only pops up when your angle and velocity are consistent for long enough to warrant spamming the hud with the text. It's a fairly rudimentary feature

ahhhh, I managed to get it to come up by deleting the config and letting it make another.
the way its presented does not really lend well to space engineers though and i think the analog input breaks it a little :) should this not constantly provide total stopping distance using current direction and max thrust available in the opposite to direction of travel. you could then more easily fly crippled ships or stop within close ranges of a gps point from silly speeds that would not normally be sensible.

i just started flying with joysticks and analog grid control.
its so good that it feels fresh and new again, these markers make it much easier to fly in gravity without dampeners on twin stick... only drama i am having is the stopping distance does not seem to show up at all.

Yes so it seems the issue is with bold, have been using bold for sometime and it just stopped working idk. but non bold works

are you using the "bold" mode or regular? "/vector bold" will cycle them. Curious that no one has ever reported something similar, but if things are jacking with the camera's view matrix I could see this potentially happening

Got an issue where the blue indicator is invisible anywhere other than the edges of the screen.

Amusingly that jittery movement you see is what SE is tracking for grid motion. I've bumped up the bottom end threshold from 0.01 to 0.1 m/s

Awesome mod thank you. Is there a way to not show the flight vector when under like, 0.5ms? At really low speeds it jitters and spazzes everywhere.

For aerial stuff I'd recommend Consty's Aircraft Pack- it has multi function HUDs that pair perfectly with some of Whip's scripts.

This mod has massively improved my Space Engineers experience, especially with space racing. Thank you so much for making it! It truly feels game-changing, especially since it's available client side too, so I can have it on all servers.

The stopinfo tries to guess when you're actually braking and has a bit of a delay to keep from flashing on off. If you're at vanilla speeds or not using hefty thrusters, you may not be meeting the criteria for it to appear

jivali- in theory yes those can be added, but I don't see those as very useful in a situation without actual orbital mechanics. It also gets somewhat complicated by left/right and up/down relying on the cockpit orientation (which may not always make sense to the grid layout) instead of simply the velocity direction.

It re-writes defaults on world load if there is an error in formatting of the config it finds in the folder

Thx for the plugin, it's a complete gamechanger.

I do have problems with the config file though.
It's being rewritten every time I start the game with the default settings. Is it a bug, or a feature?
