There's no hard duplicates. There are lots of similar or near-identical variants (Cold War China & Vietnam has a Chinese AK-47, Cold War Germany & Austria has an East German AK-47, etc.) but those have different visuals.

You won't find two guns with the EXACT same name in two different Guns Galore packs, if that's what you're wondering.

Slippin Jimmy> Not sure if this has been asked (there are far too many comments to look through), do any of the add-on packs have duplicates from other packs? If so, do they just replace each other rather than having multiple entries of the same weapon? If not disregard the previous question!

Planning on either doing a new CE-compatible attachments system or using an existing one if updated soon, precisely to give you more options in terms of optics, grips, bipods, bayonets, muzzle devices, etc.

The Ad Hoc feature from Combat Extended made it so much easier to kit my pawns out with these weapons, holy schmoly.

But I had a little semi-related idea or two I thought were neat, but I reckon it's probably been discussed before and either planned for another pack or probably seen as a little hard-to-accomplish with your workload already:

Custom weapon setups, based on actual operators from Special Operations / Police Forces, or iconic figures/movies. Maybe even (probably as part of the community suggestions pack) community-submitted setups and builds?

Alternatively, albeit I know CW isn't compatible with CE yet, and again its probably been brought up before and probably isn't as easy as a line or two of code:
Customizable Weapons compatibility, maybe with the addition of paint schemes? Would love to set up specific setups for each of my pawns and I think it would have a major impact on customization for each of these amazing guns.

@Slippin' Jimmy My point is that I haven't seen features like bayonet mounting, grenade launcher attachments, etc. from version 1.5 in the game.

It already has been in 1.6. It will remain in the 1.4/1.5 versions of the mod.

I would recommend following Nehtiyalyr's advice is you're having issues, was completely unable to start a new colony and my game would blackscreen when adding all the mods at once, now I no longer get those issues starting with CE. If you read this, thank you big man!

It worked for me when I unsubscribed from all Galore mods, launched the game, closed and subscribed again, then I started a new colony wihtout any issues...

Mine also hard crashes with CE and guns galore, to the point that it just black screens with no log. It loads fine without guns galore.

Even after the update I can't start a new colony with the Galore mods enabled, as soon I remove them from the list, I can start a new colony without any trouble.

I've been having issues with the guns galore mods since the new CE updated. Whenever I try running them together, I either have a hard crash that then disables all my mods or it won't let me load or create new scenarios from the main menu

It doesn’t replace anything directly. But there are mod settings (disabled by default) that let you turn off vanilla and VE weapons from spawning on raiders.

place it in your "Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods" folder. Don't change the name to "2949320350" as that doesn't do anything. Unsubscribe from the Steam version if you have it still, as having a steam and local copy can cause issues.

Hello, I am playing on version 1.5. What should I do to make it work? I downloaded the version from Discord but I don't know where to place the folder for it to work. I think I did half of it, but in the folder where the mods are, when I changed the folder name to '2949320350', it did not appear in the game to load as a mod. What did I do wrong?

Ah, I understand. Deleted my old messages.

Just maybe let people know that there is a story teller screen crash if you run CE and this till that issue is resolved. Took me like 4 days to figure it out.

I had a mod that allows client side patching of weapons and armor and yeah, thought I was okay.

By "CE is not yet compatible in 1.6," I meant with Guns Galore. I haven't updated the mod for 1.6 CE yet, that's why it's not working.

It seems Also CE Is incompatible when loading with Guns Galore. When both are loaded, I can't load the game it just goes to a black screen.
