@Chuckles McMerry If you are on BUILD 41 you will see it, if you go to 42, you won't see any mods with the tag b41 only

@Burryaga yes I do have Fancy Handwork. I have used this mod for a long time and it worked then. Now punches still do work but whenever I use 2 melee weapons, my character only swings with the right even if I press the modifier button (left ctrl).

Still working on Gamepad as of this post. Used it just today. I will note that hands do not do damage in PvP, at least in our server. Dual wielding weapons does, however.

This doesn't work for some reason. Having weapons on both hand just uses the right all the time even if I use left control then attack. Help.

I like the idea of punching zombies in the face! (and the fact that it uses fitness and strength)
And the dual hand can be helpful in the early game when you only have sticks and stuff as weapons while having the "all thumbs" negative trait.

There is a bug tho! Off hand weapons don't get unequipped when they run of durability... leading to an unbreakable weapon (if not unequipped manually)

Still... this is an amazing mod and I really hope to see your work prosper!

Punching is way to strong, if you kite properly you could just play through the game without even using weapons lol.

Cool and very fun but also very buggy, nearly impossible to hit that sweet spot to actually make contact and punch them, in essence its like getting a vending machine to accept a horribly crumpled bill.

I enjoy your mod, it's one of my primary mods since the beginning.

But, not completely compatible with Arsenal[26] GunFighter Mod. Guns can fire, but when you fire, the other gun on your left hand will automatically be unequipped or return to the holster/inventory. Please, fix this. Thank you.

this mod looks great, one request though is maybe an optional feature where punching a zombie has a chance for them to bite or grapple you since your putting their food right into their face

Your mod is amazing. I've been using it for awhile now and really doubt I could play this game without the ability to punch a zombie in the head. I love the feature so much I will put my primary weapon away just to go ham with the fists if there are only a couple zomboids in my way.
Saw in your description you want to enhance the unarmed possibly with gloves and such, I really like the sounds of that idea and hope that it appears in any future updates.

And well and in general there is no animation on the ground impact weapons as in the right hand on ALT, even when there is no 2nd weapon in the right hand
I understand that the developer is waiting for the release of B42 and I wish it and in the development of mods good luck, and hopefully we can come to some solutions to the “problems” that I have described here

I'm not sure if it's a bug, rather not a very remarkable thing, but I saw that through LCTRL when aiming with an additional weapon on the spacebar there is no animation of the thrust as well as the thrust itself just a blow from the left hand, while with the right hand there is a thrust, and this leads to inetesnye mishaps with the setting of alternation of combat then the left, then the right hand, that when you own 2 weapons, then alternate through the spacebar attack left hand, push and such a cycle of attack / push / attack, which is not very convenient, because I wanted to the spacebar was always push to topple zombies.

I think it would make sense for punch damage and effectiveness to scale based on your short blunt skill (alongside strength and fitness). Short blunt already increases the chance of you shoving a zombie off of you when you get grabbed so it would make sense for it to improve punches as well. I assume it would also be easier to implement than an entire new skill.
