@hardbrocklife Since wine allows windows programs to run on Linux, that would also mean that malware can indeed run under Linux with wine as well. Or course most malware won’t do nearly as bad on Linux as they could windows.

It doesn't work. If you have biotech for some reason when a pawn have a baby, the labor finish without baby or anything, in god mode it show erros and when I disabled this one, it works normally

Seems like the file was a false positive from the conversation @cauamachado51 was mentioning. It apparently does not have the unity sigs and thats why its flagged as a trojan. From what I saw it looks like this was found out by some modder named milie? There is mention of a discord for those who wish to delve deeper, but I did ask the people discussing if they could maybe make a fork with the packaged deleted. Here's to hoping folks!

I will agree the situation has gotten definitely even more sus. I went ahead and cleared the file off my system. I have had it for months without issue and my antiviral never flagged it. Looks like the Rimworld discord did a deep dive into the files and some of the defs are just completely written wrong like someone didn't know what they were doing or used a AI. Looking into it myself it looks like they included the GUI assembly in the mod folder they used to work on the mod. When I deleted the folder the file size was about what normal Giddy Up 2 was.

@incursion I don't know of any other forks of this project at this time. Going to try and look to some of the mod authors if they can look into this.
This mods features are way too important to let languish. At this point I wish they were just vanilla.

Same thing for me, flagged as a virus. Whole thing is definitely sus. The OP of the forks whole profile is just off, comments off on the mod, Snowden profile pic, heheheXD as their tag line. I'm not liking these apples

It all started at the beginning of this month, it seems and update for a lot of AV started to flag the .dll as a trojan and i can confirm miself too, i played with that mod for over 2 months without a problem, until one day my AV flagged the file inside the mod as a trojan and deleted it, so MAYBE is a false positive but honestly the fact the OP didn't say anything, deleted comments and set his profile to private for me those are big red flags, also the fork is 7 mb and this mod is only 2 mb, why the fork is bigger? People created forks for mods made by Owlchemist and are almost the same size but of course those are my 2 cents on the matter and IMO you shouldn't download that mod.

I have had the fork on my system for the past 4-5 months with no issue. From a file search I can see that the .dll file in question is also included in 1-2 other mods I have downloaded from Workshop. From what I understand Unity files like to throw false flags sometimes depending on what antivirus you are using. Malwarebytes seems to come up a lot.

yeah, the fork is uploaded by some totally trustworthy looking private profile person with only this one single upload and a snowden pfp, i think that trojan is probably not a false alarm^^ it happened on accident some times, but purposely hiding viruses in mods is nothing new, as most platforms dont really check the uploaded files.
still, it hasnt been taken down by steam, yet it must have been reported a couple of times

@Azraile True, the fork is very sus ATM. There is a file called UnityEngine.IMGUIModule.dll that is flagged as a trojan( VHO.trojan-downloader.MSILConvagent.gen ) i don't know if is a false positive tho but anycase be careful guys.

@Dietze that is a vanilla thing. The trainability of a bunch of animals was changed when 1.3 added the animal pen mechanics.

Hmmm, is there a reason why the Trainability of my Horses is at none?
I recall with the 'old' Giddy-Up, I could utilize my horses to actually haul things, which made them VERY usefull.
I mean I can still use them in Combat and occasionally my people DO ride around on them and are much faster and the increased mobility sure does help in Combat, but the hauling would be kinda nice.

Is there any possibility to add a "charge" feature, which makes mounted melee superior in open field like it does in real life?

Don't take mods for granted boys, as long as it's a free service it's not the modders' obligation to serve you. Acting edgy and rude will only result in more delaying or the dev abandoned the mod.
