i like this mod for the tools and stuff but idk if it still works (i dont have SW). but the chests dont seem to work. it just consumes the items and i read this entire thing and didnt find my solution. And if i give an item to an alchemy engine, it consumes the item, no matter what it is.

Without them, it would kinda break the original spirit of the mod.

Now we have Tekkit Classic, Tekkit Lite, Tekkit 1.6, Voltz, Attack of the B Team, Hexxit, Yogcraft, Feed the Beast, Yogscast complete pack, Resonant Rise, Crazycraft, and tons more Minecraft Modpacks.

That would be really, really simple to do - It would take longer to create all the mod.lua files than to write the code - whick is literally just one line of code that replaces the current burn time.... in fact it's so simple that I'm amazed no-one else has donr it yet. OH WAIT THEY HAVE.

I was wondering if it was possible to make torches? so that they can only be placed on walls and will never extinguish? mostly for building like a home base for Don't starve together. so like when people join in they have a safe place to spawn and it can be pretty and stuff. i dunno i just think it would be handy for building bases

OK - I plead ignorance, and thanks for letting me know. If you like, please ask the MC modders if they mind... If they do, i will pull this mod off the Workshop. I don't know who they are or where to find them.

It was not heavily inspired, every part of the content is a complete copy of the minecraft mod, exept from the items textures and stuff, but it still counts as copyright even if its just the ideas.

Author has abandoned DS, so I'm going to check with him and see if he'll let someone port this over to DST

Sorry, what part of the conversation are you commenting on? I didn't I've never installed or played Minecraft, let alone the mods for it - Not for myself, at least. I did it for a mates kids once, but I still never played it.

and It was Devil that copied it, I just posted it. Yes, I'm sure it was heavily inspired by the Minecraft mod. I'm guessing it has the same name as the MC mod. I'm guessing it does the same things or has the same items as the MC mod. So yeah, I;m guessing it copies the MC mod.

I'm also guessing that that mod is opensource and that others have re-modded it for their own purposes in MC.

Hopefully this comes across respectfully to you, and all that ask / state that this is a rip from MC.
It's not really, they are written in different languages, I think, and it had to be built literally one line of code at a time to work with DS.

It's a mobile Lightning Rod. equip it in a storm, get hit by lightning, GG.
