Any chance of making water skins able to be collected from the well as well as the water collecting spot? Thanks!
Jeremie Apr 23 @ 8:22am
seen like this mod will case the debug menu `spawn thing` cannot work.
TealDragonGaming Apr 14 @ 3:13pm
Excellent! I've always felt that manual boiling was missing from DBH. I've been using No Water No Life for my tribal and medieval games because of that oversight.
CyberFerret Mar 27 @ 4:30pm
Possible bug. My latrine is about 2x the size it should be visually
Zekundes Mar 25 @ 9:30pm
Is it possible for the simple bathtub to be plumbed? Or do they still need to be filled manually?
WarKittyKat Mar 24 @ 9:15pm
Would you be open to considering moving the simple shower to medieval? There were simple showers possible with medieval technology and it's honestly a little pointless having them at the same tech level as regular showers.
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) Mar 12 @ 7:53am
@ElderSign Senpai hello please can you make the simple bathtub attachable to the pipes?
Annabellee Mar 10 @ 7:22am
I also love the models.
Annabellee Mar 10 @ 7:21am
Is there any way we can have a version or a patch that doesn't have the fetching water mechanics and bring back pipes for simple tubs washing kits and boiler pots?
ElderSign Senpai  [author] Mar 9 @ 8:28pm
I apologize for not being able to answer your questions individually.

I have fixed the boiler pot behavior, but some of the other bugs you have reported are not reproducible in my environment, so it is taking some time to determine the cause.
I have prepared a bug report thread and would appreciate it if you could report your bug in that thread in the future, including the mod environment you are using.

I have also set up a FAQ, which I hope you will find useful.
Iirly Feb 18 @ 7:01pm
Is there a version of this compatible with DBH lite?
Uriel Septim VII Feb 17 @ 7:36am
the windmill needs a patch it keeps telling me i can't build it with out researching electricity
Good Old Jim Feb 6 @ 7:53pm
So for anyone wondering about my question, no. You can install it, it will let you build them but all the tubs and stuff need water which you cant build with DBH lite. Fat rip.
Good Old Jim Feb 5 @ 9:23pm
Does this work with DBH lite?
Darecker Jan 21 @ 1:04pm
I don't understand how the boiler pot works. I've had it sitting (filled with water) on a campfire for 2 days now and nothing has happened. Mind explaining?
Tonic Jan 5 @ 7:24pm
Thoughts on adding aqueducts?
Borderline Jan 2 @ 12:59pm
should i be able to build the electric boiler and radiators when using this mod and Dubs bad hygiene or am i bugged ?
Gimlon07 Dec 31, 2024 @ 4:01am
waterpumps(powered by rivers) would be nice for my cave kingdom
Waiter Dec 21, 2024 @ 6:02pm
how does the irrigation canal work?
Tonic Dec 6, 2024 @ 9:34am
I'd love some medieval geyser tech, I want to make a bath house around one lol
Constantine Dec 3, 2024 @ 4:55am
The boiler pot is broken,
Earl of Wessex Nov 21, 2024 @ 12:59pm
Really fun mod, though I feel bathtubs are no longer feasible. Colonists spend half of their day refilling tubs around the colony, making the endeavour simply too labour-intensive.

Could we not have simple tubs & the previous (plumbed in) tubs, too? Nothing wrong with a little choice. Anyhow, thanks for the mod - it's really enjoyable!
Astryl Nov 10, 2024 @ 10:03pm
This is awesome, but sluice gates seem to function intermittently and it seems like they use to much water to the point where they'll drain 15k+ liters in seconds and never be able to replenish it fast enough.
Fion Nov 4, 2024 @ 5:58pm
Oh bloody hell this is what I was missing all this time. Thanks for the mod!
lydocia Oct 23, 2024 @ 10:14am
Is there a "lite" version of this mod (like Dubz Hygiene Lite, without the plumbing and logistics)?
FoolishMacaroni Oct 20, 2024 @ 1:53pm
this is wonderful but i would love for there to be a washing machine equivalent for medieval
adultchildofalieninvaders Oct 13, 2024 @ 4:53am
The boiler pot is recently broken in my game (it certainly worked last week!) and I suspect it has something to do with the newest Medieval Overhaul update since this here mod hasn't seen any action for a number of months.
Constantine Oct 13, 2024 @ 1:45am
Anybody has problems with the sauna room? My pawns do not visit it at all. Also, the heater doesn't increase the temperature.
CrazyBuns Oct 1, 2024 @ 2:56am
Is the boiler pot broken? I can't get it to heat the water over a campfire
CattyKat Aug 30, 2024 @ 11:09pm
fixed yet?
Audrey III Jul 26, 2024 @ 10:26pm
Since the 1.5 update, pawns won't draw water from wells when refilling, only from bodies of water like lakes/oceans. This issue only happens when DBH for Medieval is loaded, when I remove it and just have standard DBH, it works fine.
Snuggl Jul 3, 2024 @ 7:08am
Weird. I restarted the game and now the irrigation gates seem to work as intended. They stopped wasting all my water and the pawns also enable and disable them. I don't understand computers. 😐

The bug with the messed up terrain persists though.
Snuggl Jul 2, 2024 @ 5:26am
I've also noticed a(nother) bug: Placing the irrigation canals destroys the terrain beneath them. After removing the canals the terrain is black and has no name, it's just void with a walk speed of 100%.
Snuggl Jul 2, 2024 @ 5:08am
I love this mod! The irrigation canals are much cooler than mere sprinklers and have a nice effect. :) It uses 10+ times more water though. Not sure what to think about that. They keep watering, even though the field is done for the day. My water storage never goes above 10 liters as they're used up instantly, even at night.

Also, the irrigation isn't evenly, one of my fields is fully watered (and keeps getting watered non-stop) while others get nothing. I noticed you can manually switch the irrigation gates but that's very tedious. Would be nice if they did that automatically when the field is done. Also, it closes ALL gates apparently instead of just the one i clicked on. =/
zanaikin Jun 19, 2024 @ 5:17pm
@KDHD I think that's intended, since boiling water for baths have to be done the hard way (by putting boiler pots on heated fires). No roman heated bath in this mod.
KDHD Jun 11, 2024 @ 7:27pm
very cool mod, but i wanted to let you know that for some reason log boiler requires industrial tech with this mod enabled instead of medieval tech which dbh requires bt default for it, so theres no way to get log boiler to get hot water without having industrial tech
Scorpio Jun 5, 2024 @ 11:58am
compat with light version ?
zanaikin May 28, 2024 @ 8:17pm
Was there a graphics patch made for this mod recently? I noticed that a lot of appearances changed but since the game specifies the source as Dubs Bad Hygiene for most structures I wasn't sure if that was the case.

If that is the case, thanks a bunch for the new water well and water tower graphics. They really fit the theme a lot better. That being said, could we still use the old graphic for the water tub? The old water tub looked like a barrel full of water they just took washes from which feels right, while the new water tub looks like a small bucket that just sits on the ground which... without the ability to place on top of a table, it just looks odd lying around the base.
telephonik May 22, 2024 @ 9:51am
Got an issue with no error being thrown. Whenever I try to prioritize irrigating an area with the primitive irrigation tech, my pawns will simply stand there doing nothing, then walk away.
Tonic May 5, 2024 @ 3:09am
@ElderSign Senpai ah shame, my main issue is that pawns dont use hot springs like a bath in that mod, they just happen to get hygiene when they use it, i have some coding know how tho so i might take a crack at it myself
ElderSign Senpai  [author] May 4, 2024 @ 1:02pm
@Tonic
I think using geysers as a heat source for this mod is a great idea.
However, I decided that rather than going to that much trouble, it would be better to build a hot spring with the aforementioned mod without reinventing the wheel.

@Marty in the multyvers
Sorry for the late reply, but I am relieved to be able to provide you with an update soon after your comment.
Have a good RimWorld life.

@Autismus Maximus
Thanks for your comment.
I have received several other comments on textures, and will consider them while finding a way to balance them with other tasks.
Autismus Maximus May 4, 2024 @ 10:01am
i like the idea but im sorry to say it doenst look vanilla-ish, i recommend a retexture and id gladly use it for my roman empire playtrough
Marty in the multyvers Apr 14, 2024 @ 11:27am
hope to see it updated soon
Tonic Apr 9, 2024 @ 3:18am
ah shame, i was hoping for a way to set up a hot water system using the natural heat of a geyser in the medieval era, so like a hot water tank but it has to be set up on a geyser and you can use it to fill baths
ElderSign Senpai  [author] Apr 8, 2024 @ 2:35pm
@Tonic
Unfortunately, there are no plans at this time to implement a hot spring with this mod because of existing mods like "DBH & VFEC/Hot Spring Compatibility " and "Standalone Hot Spring" .
Tonic Apr 8, 2024 @ 5:48am
hello, love the mod. any plans to add public baths? they could be heated by a steam geyser :D
ElderSign Senpai  [author] Apr 4, 2024 @ 1:56pm
しばらくこのMODの開発に割く時間が取れず、お待たせしてしまっていたことをお詫びします。
I apologize for the wait, as I have not had time to develop this mod for a while.

初めて作ったMODに多くの反応を頂けたことを嬉しく思っています。
I am happy to have received so many responses to my first mod.

今後は頂いたコメントに目を通しつつ、来たるver1.5や追加要素の実装やバグ修正に向けて(ゆっくりとではありますが)このMODの開発を再開していきますので、気長にお待ちいただければ幸いです。
I will be looking over the comments I have received and will resume development of this mod (albeit slowly) for the upcoming ver 1.5, implementation of additional elements and bug fixes, so I hope you will be patient with me.
Mewn Goddess Feb 27, 2024 @ 1:53pm
@Argon and kittehkatbar I think you both are using 'Medieval Overhaul Tweaks' (or similar mod with MO patches) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2730497766 and that mod patches the Irrigation Sprinkler cost list (to remove Industrial Component) before 'DBH for Medieval' patches it (hence it can't find Industrial Component).
I don't think that this error is dangerous anyway %)
Argon Feb 14, 2024 @ 11:35am
kittehkatbar Feb 12, 2024 @ 9:22am
@Stellar you need to build a bathtub and set it to hot water. They use the boiler pot to refill it.
