paulygoon123 You gotta match pieces of maps you found to the genarl map of the terrain and then look for identical structures on the map of the terrain. There you will find objectives to complete. :>

It's easy once you know do that. :>

I gave up with that one. I found both pieces of the map but couldn't see where I'm supposed to head to.

This mission is a lot of fun. I haven't even finished yet. I've died 4 times just in the beginning market already. I'm looking forward to playing it thru and going to your others. I popped on this one because of the DLC.

Thank you for the help! I haven't tried many community made missions in co-op, so it's good to hear this is the default behavior. I just know from the default co-op missions, they were all different. In some there was no revive, in others unconcious people could still get shot and killed. In many you could just respawn with full gear. Apex managed it quite well but still not fully to my taste. Because i think respawning with gear makes things less immersive and sometimes too easy and also the mentality changes. The real stories are written, when you have to revive your friends in difficult situations. At least this was my experience on public servers.

I guess it makes sense if i learn to edit missions. There's nothing wrong with doing some mission preparation for the group. In the end i want them to have a nice experience. And from what i saw in videos, there's also the revive system of ACE. So if we decide to change to ACE one day, then i already know how to edit it.

Theoretically, the revive system is a permanent element of every mission as it was created. I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess there are probably mods to overwrite it like this.
But it is also possible to extract missions from the workshop files and edit them in the Arma editor. If you realy feel like you need to change something for yourself.

But as far as just having a revive system on the principle that if someone gets hit they lie on the ground and you have to revive them. 99% of my missions have this feature by default in COOP.

Thanks for this nice mission! It was a lot of fun to play for me. I also liked how you built three military bases, have a lot of civilians and cars. These extras make the world feel really alive.

Maybe a little off-topic, but if i want to play such missions in coop with friends, i realize the revive system is different from mission to mission (e.g. even default BI missions). But i can understand my friends don't want to be dead for the rest of the mission, nor do i like instant respawn, so i'd like to have some revive-by-teammate like in Escape Tanoa or some online-servers. My question here would be, can i install this mission-independent somehow or does it always depend on the mission author?

I can see mission in which players would use Spectrum Device to hack enemy drones from a distance so I guess there is mission making potential there. Good suggestion. :>

Nice little puzzle with the map pieces.Keep up the great work mate.I really appreciate that you're using all assets and maps.I have an idea..Something we all forget is the spectrum device from contact.Maybe you can make a mission using this.

Hey fellas, its Quadane Dingle (UAAHHHHH) I am currently on the run in Western Sahrara after being charged with multiple crimes (hehehehehe) Including: Battery on a CSAT peacekeeper (WHAT?!) weapons smuggling (uhehehehe) and running over an orphanage with a ZAMAK truck (WHATINTARNATION?)

C.J I'm always happy to hear people are enjoing my missions and I'm just as eager to hear any feedback/criticism (as long as it is not all caps rage and etc xD) even if it will not make to this mission it will definitely inform design of next ones. :>

Also I should just remove that hold action from squad members when they die. I will probably add that in an update.

Thank you for mission for Sefrou Ramal terrain!
Havent finished it yet but in case you are interested my feedback here you go:
When flying over the village and shooting down the enemies, all soldiers were frozen, didnt return fire and just stand there until my friendly AI killed them
hold action for changing equip with my fallen AI was appearing on long distances (cursortarget) and it wasnt really working I had to grab weapon manually anyway
aside from that it felt pretty nice and challenging, keep it up! :)

Nevermind, I managed to find the cause of the issue. I am using an mod called GGE: Weapon Swap. For some reason this mod was causing the helicopter to bug out. Thank you

When I start the mission, the helicopter is just gaining altitude but not flying anywhere. Any idea what is causing it?

SR They're not supposed to show up there. If You collected both maps from Quadane you can look them up in "Collected Maps" in your diary.
On each of them you have marked buildings (those are where other isurgents are) and probably some other terrain details. By matching those to location with the same terrain features on your map of Sefrou-Ramal you can identify their hideout. :>

that's what I meant by "Please be aware that this mission includes very unorthodox objective in which player/players need to find location of enemy hideout using maps collected in first objective." . You need to do some intelligence work yourself.

How do I use the intel collected to locate the two remaining cells? Their locations are not showing up on my main map. According to the objectives I have obtained all the intel that was needed in the first phase of the mission.

Kirgiz Saving should have worked since mission was released.
But if you saved before I've updated the mission and then tried loading that save after that point You would propably get message that it was no longer compatible with updated mission. This has always been the case with all missions in Arma.

Yes, you understood correctly, apparently just some enemies sometimes fall under the floor and then come out and walk through the walls. It's not your fault, it's a Sahara bug.
Now the saves should work?

What do you mean by "birth of the enemies right behind you"? You mean Spawning behind you ? because if so, I can tell you that they can't spawn after mission starts.

Also saving is possible. Maybe you saved and then I released update and you had older version so it couldn't load save. I don't know really what you mean there or what happend. :/

I, as expert #1, want to give you advice on this mission and on all that you can fix further:
1) More variety in the clothing of the player group to give some face and personality to the characters. (for example, here you can have different ballistic masks with a turban, there are at least 3 available, different colors of body armor and backpacks)
2) You have given an autosave after landing, but the download does not work. You must remove the ability to save completely so that the player knows that saving is not possible. And put it in the description. I played for a long time and collected a lot of interesting things, but then Putin called me, I survived and when I returned from the meeting everything was gone, the save was not loaded.
3) Get rid of the birth of enemies as much as possible right behind your back and in houses that have already been cleared, unfortunately the map itself is buggy and sometimes enemies walk under the floor and fire through the walls.
