Can you please add an "auto patcher" function? If a mod is unsupported, it should use the default yellow flash.

Hi there, I try to create xml like presets but I can't deal with "chargeblasterturret" which is the autocannon on the back of diablo, warqueen, centurion, this three have no flash after I try ways to solve.

Well the flash actually works after patched, only if pawns equip it by using CharacterEditor, but normally this can't be happen.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I have found an issue with run and gun+CE which causes the muzzle flash to appear, even though there is no ammo in the gun and no shot was fired. This is more likely to be a CE with Run and Gun than an issue with your mod, to be honest.

It would be sick if the mod contained the in-game way of setting these up for unpatched weapons like show me your hands does.

projectile comes from the barrel of the gun and not from inside of the colonist?

[1] Performance optimization, This mod is fast enough in the previous version but it is faster and less memory usage now.

@Memmo: The is an option in debug menu to hot reaload the muzzle flash patch. You dont have to restart your game.

@Memmo for starters, you probably don't need all of your modlist to align a muzzle flash to a single gun. Rebooting the game with just a handful of mods is actually very bearable

If I want to create a patch for another mod, what is the best way to align the muzzle flash and find the proper coordinates? Editing the XML file and rebooting heavily modded Rimworld to check the alignmed seems very inefficient way to do so.

Using Vanilla Textures Expanded and Yayo's Animations (not Yayo's Combat) it was not working until I changed the load order and worked. The order I'm using is:
Vanilla Textures Expanded
Muzzle Flash
Yayo's Animations (Continued)

在只有Core,Harmony和这个mod的情况下也没有任何枪口火焰,也没有任何报错,仿佛这个mod不存在。重启电脑和重装游戏也无济于事。是GPU instancing渲染的问题吗?我是在M1 Mac上运行的。

A bug was found when using this mod with the run and gun and combat extended mod, the flash appears even when the magazine is empty.

Perfect details, like the shotgun has wider muzzle fire because a shotgun usually has shorter barrel and more gunpowder in shells. Some particles can be added, because the friction between plastic sabot can cause some shards on fire.
