Can this be made togglable in mod configuration tool so we can choose who gets the start? Personally I'm not so against Sisters starting in the Witchwood for example.

I absolutely love this mod, would there be any way you could take a look at Grand Hierophant Khatep? I hate how he starts at the edge of the map, instead of southern lustria where the ACTUAL FACTION named Deserters of Khatep are located!

You can find the list of region and faction here, if you use mixu mod, you need to check the region and faction in the DB

Are there plans to put the Daemons of Khorne, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the very north, roughly where they start in the campaign to hunt Ursun?

Would you consider moving Belegar to Karaz-a-Karak? I think lore wise that's where he grew up and where his various expeditions to retake K8P all set off from.

Sorry, I should've been clearer, I'm not saying Manfred doesn't belong in templehof or morathi doesn't belong in Ghrond. I'm just wondering if for example Kar sabar could go to the "nechrach brotherhood" or the city of quintex maybe to the "keepers of bliss" or "Ss'ildra tor". Maybe it makes sense for some factions to have 2 starting settlements like Eltharion but I'm just curious if some of CAs more creative decisions could be cleaned up a bit. If not that's fine it's still a great mod. Guess I'm just looking for as lore-accurate a starting map as I can get :) . Thanks for responding

for what faction? I consider each faction has his most appropiate start, but this depends on the point of view.

Sounds good Cesar, I understand moving and combining these new factions could get a bit wonky. I just got excited seeing you were able to combine Lokhir/Rakarth and it always felt weird playing as Franz having to compete with Gelt and now Volkmar who both lead factions centered in Altdorf.

Glad to see the return of this mod, it was one of my favorites and must haves in WH2. Honestly not too concerned if the relocating of factions screws with campaign quests/goals too much as if others are like me they mainly use this mod to balance out the AI factions and map... I tend to play faction leaders anyway who usually start in the loreful homeland.

If i really want to do a book hunt as Volkmar I'll just disable this mod to play his campaign. Shouldn't impact AI too much since they gain all quest items automatically. Biggest issue is probably who they start at war with, and might cause them to beeline across the map.

Oh, then I'll test starting out with Teclis, didn't actually think about that. It'll probably work then. Maybe it would be possible to do the opposite with Saphery only for the player, so if you start with Balannaer you confederate Teclis instead. Should be possible, but as an extremely amateur modder myself I wouldn't know the how tos without tinkering.

nice point Shadd, will revise it. Serj Targarien, the mod confederate Teclis with Saphery and change his faction name, so I supose that you will keep Belanaer if you start with Teclis. But keep in mind that I am an amateur modder. I try things and see what happens, so dont know.

I understand the mod is not tailored to use with other mods, but it's by definition mildly incompatible with Mixu's Legendary Lords (and probably other custom factions) in some places.

For example, Belannaer the Wise is the Legendary Lord who leads the Faction of Saphery. In this mod, with Teclis moving there, the faction is eliminated, so when you start a new game as Saphery, comically, you lose the game immediately.

Any way to make the mods compatible? Maybe confederate the factions occupying those territories when possible instead of erasing them from the map? Otherwise I love the new start positions.

Any chance of getting Gelt and Volkmar back under the Reikland banner? Not sure if Volkmar in Ostermark will be compatible with Mixu's mod that adds the unique Elector Counts for all the Empire factions.

If both Lokhir and Rakarth are in Karond Kar, don't see why Tiktaq'to and Mazdamundi couldn't both be in Hexoatl.

Oxyotl's the one from Pahaux. Tiktaq'to is from Hexoatl.
