The turrets I constructed separately and used a tug to lower them to the rotor which I hit 'connect' on. This allowed the essential half-layer of armor beneath the turret that would otherwise be unplacable to do volume conflict. Early versions had frequent turret failures due to the rotors being primary targets of enemies.
I'm a server administrator and our players would probably love fighting this. Are you alright with us adding it as an npc for our players? We may need to modify it a bit to fit with our weapons pack.
I think you may be right, that this is a problem going on in the game/workshop rather than specific to this model. Regardless, thank you for the awesome work you've done on your fleet, and for sharing it with everyone! Keep up the awesome stuff!
Oh boy, I don't know what is going on. All of a sudden there's reports of missing blocks on this ship and the shipyard I posted around a similar time. I'm at a complete loss as to why. I never use mods in order to keep things simple, though I do use all the official DLCs. I'm starting to wonder if this is part of a larger issue with blueprints.
I'm running into an odd thing where I go to paste the ship into the game and it says that it contains blocks that are not in the world. However, I have all the space engineers DLC.
There may be more than one spot missing, but the one I can tell right away is some of the stairs in the hangar seem to be missing. Is it using a modded set of stairs?
When I paste the ship fresh and enter from any airlock, the interior appears pressurized. Hydroponics as well many other smaller rooms don't have their own local source of air and instead depends on feeding air from the main corridors. Should the ship load without internal air pressure, both 100,000L tanks start with 100% air which should be plenty to fill the ship. The ship also comes survival ready with several tons of ice to feed four oxygen generators, all of which are in engineering.
If the ship is undamaged and it's not a door configuration issue, it could possibly be a DLC issue. If you paste the ship but don't have all of the DLCs, it should let you place the ship but there will be holes where DLC parts should be.
I'll keep tinkering with it.
id imagine that in a trailer red would come and deploy a small group of fighters and an automated destroyer to fight the blue fleet, probably would show off the flak guns firing at drones and stuff getting blown up (the usual).
@Micknator I think it's time I put the 'blue team' ships into a collection as well!
@Mo3 I tried to be conscious of the block count and PCU during construction and in fact there is parts of the ship that are hollowed out already to keep the count lower than it would have been. If we stripped out the cosmetic details and most of the interior it might put the ship around 11k blocks. A better alternate might be my Durango-class cruiser.
