How can I adopt the Cult of Cthulhu as the state religion? I've seen AI adopt it as Philippines.

Most of the things I want to do fall apart when run with other mods, so starting to plan a second mod which will depend on this one, and include map changes, re-introducing R’lyeh, but also adding Vulcania, Pnakotus, and a number of releasables. That could take months to get released so don’t hold your breath!

For this mod, it’ll mostly be smaller tweaks unless new things I can play with get added to the base game.

Are any new features planned? Anyway cool mod!

Hi shudderfly, I removed that feature a couple of years ago, as that cause conflicts with map mods. This game works (kinda) with total conversions such as Realms of Exether as a result.

Can't find the country on the map.

Not currently, but I am starting to work on a collaboration with the create of the New Dark Age mod, which will add extra content if you have both mods installed.

R'lyeh was removed by popular demand, as it modified the map. The journal now fires for ALL nations on Jan 13th.

I just have a balance pass left to do, so the update will be coming this week.

With the next update, I will no longer be modifying a single existing file. This means I am no longer changing the map or history files, which should mean that it will work with any map mod, or even total conversions. I've been testing it on a few popular mods, including VFM and VTM, and it works fine with them so far.

But still think about asking, will the map be modified in the next update?

I've got one feature left to add, and then a teeny tiny bit of polish before I'll be happy to publish the update.

I am not trying to rush you, Im going to play other stuff until this gets updated and I have alot of games I have been neglecting lol.

I am working on the next iteration which will touch a lot less files and work with more mods.

This will mean R’lyeh will be removed, but also means that any nation can run the journal.

I hope not to change the map file, because some players in China need to use mods to modify maps, so once this mod is loaded, an offset error will occur... Hopefully we can unmodify the map, or teach us how not to modify the map

I think it would be really cool if you made a version that doesn't alter the Map. I have a lot of Mods and anything touching the Map breaks it.

I don't think I'll add it natively to more nations for the time being. I am working on adding in more routes to get cultists in power (which lets you use the decision which will fire the journal) though, so it will be easier (especially for parliamentary republics) to start it. Also have more content around the new techs and interest groups in my upcoming update.
