In the early, early stages of working on this mod, I wanted to replace Act 1, Act 2, Act 3 and The Heart with special KLK enemies. Then I realized how insane and difficult that would be and I lowered my expectation to just making a special encounter for The Heart. Then I got to a point where I was like hundreds of hours into making this mod and I was like "but I just wanna release this someday lol" so special boss encounters got left behind in my dreams.

I know it's not mentioned in the mod Description, but words still cannot fully express my disappointment not to find Ragyo waiting for me after opening the door. Otherwise excellet mod tho, very well built character.

@DaVid-大V - I manually recorded all of the Kill la Kill audio in the game as I watched the entire anime. It took a very long time. I have no plans to include the Japanese audio. However if you feel like recording the Japanese audio, capture it in .ogg format and send it to me with captions (because I don't speak Japanese) and I can include it in this mod as a toggleable option.

One of the best character mods in sts, also really well balanced although I feel a run that uses vulnerable almost needs the intangible event but when you do get it, the run feels unstoppable

Gotta say, amazing mod. It plays really well, both running smoothly and the actual gameplay of the cards/relics/potions added are really fun. Great animations and music. The extra graphic on sen'i soshitsu when you last hit with it is a nice touch. 11/10 mod, does justice to ya girl Ryuko

@THEzanyCargo - Sorry to hear you are having problems. However, this sounds like an issue with your installations of BaseMod and/or ModTheSpire instead. Make sure you have BaseMod, ModTheSpire, and StSLib installed - links to all of these are listed on the sidebar farther up on this page. The custom music only plays during: the main menu, boss fights, the shop, the end credits.

This mod is so good! It's amazing how much love and effort was put into this.

I do have a question though: Is the custom music only for the menu? I still get the regular StS music ingame.

The cards are good without being overpowered, the theme is fun and coherent, the effects are funny, the art is on point for every card, Mako cards are hilarious. Nothing to complain! Tenouttaten!

@rinM: I checked out super fast mode mod but comments seem to say it causes some bugged card interactions. I would recommend changing the bleed animation of KLK mod to be more similar to your other mod. Maybe the animation could be something like a quick burst of blood, then blood splatter and/or spray running down / gushing out that takes a second or so. The more stacks, the larger the spray/splatter/fountain of blood running out, but takes the same amount of time.

@rinM: I play using fast mode. I didn't know about a super fast mode mod, but I'll look into that, it sounds like a great quality of life thing for folks like us who have hundreds/thousands of hours in this game

@nomdeplum - Hey, thanks for the feedback. I am curious, are you playing with Fast Mode enabled and/or do you use any mods like SuperFastMode? While designing this mod, I mostly tested everything out using SuperFastMode at 250%. Understandably, things can get a little weird outside of that speed range.

I have had a new mod for Spire on the back burner for a few months now. It has a DoT/tick mechanic that functions very similarly to KLK's Bleed effect but I just made it work so that when its stacks reach a certain amount, rather than falling off one by one and creating a longer animation, it all just happens instantaneously. It's probably something I will come back and implement in this mod when I get my second wind and add more stuff to it in the future.

oh, I forget to mention. The bleed effect can take kind of long for the animation to finish. Would be great if that can be sped up or if we can be given the option to speed it up

Mechanically well designed. Feels strong but not overly so, with a learning curve and immensely satisfying bleed status. Excellent and funny usage of visual and sound effects to capture the soul of the character. Only downside is the standing animation sprite looks a bit janky but it fits the style of StS somewhat. 9/10

Kill la Kill is the anime that got me into watching anime in general and i just have such fond memories of learning english watching eng dub of it. Thank you so much for such an amazing mod! I just wish "dont loose your way" would continously play after getting the power lol -

That might be quite misunderstanding.The two versions explain the same.I consider the sentence "whenever you end your turn....,you gain power"or"当回合结束时，若……，你获得力量“ in Chinese Version as"at the time you press the 'end turn' button, you gain power",it's an immediate action in my point of view. If you delay it to the beginning of next turn, you may describe it as"When you lose HP because of negative Blood, you gain power". I don't know Eng quite well, that's just a suggestion.


I download the mod just yesterday, so I feel sorry about knowing nothing about the version upgrade.The description of the card matches the effect in game.It's just my curiosity

Also, did you find that text for Disciplinary Action in-game or just by viewing the files outside the game? "Remove all block" is an old function of the card that was removed in v1.2. The UPGRADE_DESCRIPTION was never changed because I changed the card to no longer need an UPGRADE_DESCRIPTION.

And the card"DontLoseYourWay", it gains power at the beginning of each turn when you have negative Blood.Actually after losing blood because of negative Blood

The upgraded card "Disciplinary Action" says"remove all block from target" in the file. But in game it's inoperative. And the description doesn't contain the effect either.
The Version I use is the Simplified Version.

More people have to play this mod. Also, this mod goes really well with the Flandre Scarlet mod as well. Happy...
