Latex Santa Sep 27 @ 1:04am
@Argón
I understand. Believe me, these are good mods.
I like them very much. I know you're a real human bean, with his own concerns.
You're not a 40K tech-priest or servitor that only does modding and occasional self-maintenance.
You have your own life and modding is just one activity among many. It will take time to update.
And I'll just have to wait.
Argón  [author] Sep 25 @ 11:03am
Gee! Thanks for the nice words :D
Wrath Sep 25 @ 9:54am
We believe in you are truly blessed to have such competent and involved modders as you for our favourite game! Sending you good vibes and gratefullness from France
Argón  [author] Sep 25 @ 9:28am
Believe me, I'm more willing to get these done than anyone else. It's difficult, though, to try to come up with something that offers both a nice gameplay and satisfies me.
Latex Santa Sep 25 @ 4:02am
Yeah, I'm not holding out hope for an update this year.
And as for Expanded Materials - Plastics? HAH. God only knows when that will be done.
It's fine. They're very nice to have, but I can live without them, somehow.
Wrath Sep 24 @ 11:43pm
Still in hope of a 1.6 update, your mods are really missing
NumberNegative Jul 29 @ 1:54pm
Glad to hear a remake is planned. I really miss making Dub's Hygiene fixtures out of porcelain, feels weird and wrong to be using steel or wood
Sir Duncan Idaho Jul 26 @ 12:27am
I second the interest in praying to the porcelain god. I always go looking for this mod as a high priority when I reinstall the game as one of the most important materials. I don't mind having to really work for it too (I like "realistic" as possible while still remaining fun). Thanks for working on it!
Kirbington Jul 17 @ 2:22am
That's an amazing idea! Great to see you back in the game Argon, been a long time fine of expanded materials.
Argón  [author] Jul 16 @ 1:27pm
I intend to do so, don't worry. The new DLC feature to make sculptures will also make porcelain a great stuffable.
Kirbington Jul 15 @ 11:26pm
Hey Argon! Like everyone else I'm going back through older modlists to see what will work with the latest update. I really miss this one from my lists to add a bit of depth to my resource production. If you're looking at reworking this mod I'll reiterate a request I made years ago; could you add porcelain as a stuffable material so I can build Dubs Bad Hygeine toilets out of it? it just makes sense!
Argón  [author] Jul 15 @ 3:48pm
I'll consider it for the mod's rework coming up. :steamthumbsup:
Dandyroot Jul 15 @ 7:03am
I'd love for clay to get some love in rimworld again. If you have the time spare (which i know is unlikely when developing a mod), I feel like there's potential for some fun integrations! food storage, preparation, and decoration in neolithic/tribal era... crucibles and high-heat-tolerance tools in medieval era... nonconductive and high resilience components in industrial... glass-ceramic or metal-ceramic composites and exotic-use materials in spacer and glitterworld eras...

I just think there's fun to be had with clay! Just my little request, consider it if it appeals to you!
RamenFuneral Jul 14 @ 4:25pm
Can't wait until this is updated and released. Such a good addition to my play throughs!
Argón  [author] Jul 10 @ 12:03pm
You can always ask for help in my Discord server :lunar2019coolpig:
Renay Edor Jul 10 @ 10:26am
definitely on my 1.6 list if it's really going to be updated for it, I really love mods that add intermediates and new resources, especially such colorful ones :D

I might just have to learn how to bash XML's together to make "Compatibility" between mods XD
Latex Santa Jun 30 @ 5:19am
@Argón
It's perfectly acceptable, since 1.6 is just around the corner.
I'll be waiting for a bit, personally, so that the mods I want hit 1.6 before I start playing again, anyway.
Can't imagine playing without Replace Stuff, Simple Sidearms, Run and Gun, RimHUD, Allow Tool, and so on.
Argón  [author] Jun 29 @ 11:59pm
I'm sorry for that. This mod came out rushed and bugged with 1.5, and the remake took me some time to design. Since the new changes in VE Framework for 1.6, I think the rework will come out for 1.6 and likely won't be 1.5 compatible.
Luke Vale Jun 29 @ 10:24pm
I wont' lie, that I'm a little sad this wasn't updated to 1.5 before the 1.6 drop. I would've windmill slammed this into my modlist if it was. (Given I'm likely going to be stuck on 1.5 while I wait for a few key mods to get updated/picked up and adopted)
Martennn Jun 20 @ 1:34am
any idea why the digging spot is bugged? i have loaded only harmony and vanilla expanded framework. the colonists will just stand at the spot, switching between "standing" "digging". They will never produce anything. When i move them away from the spot and prioritize it, they will stand still and not even move towards the spot anymore.
Argón  [author] Jun 17 @ 8:31pm
The update is in progress, and so far, 1.6 hasn't broke anything relating to the code of my framework or mods. It's just now a bit delayed until VE updates their framework so I can update my mods and release new ones. I need to finish maybe one or two code features of this mod before I release its definitive edition. I just have been really in a convoluted state for the last two months, working on many different things among commissions and book work.
H0l0gr4mm Jun 17 @ 9:38am
What do you do because 1.6?
lol May 31 @ 10:42pm
Woods suggestion: 'Expanded Woodworking' is alright yet some stuff could be deeper. Like different lumber could affect bow qualities (including CE)
Argón  [author] May 31 @ 3:40pm
I will rework woods when the time come. It'll be simple but I hope entertaining.
Arswind May 31 @ 1:10am
Maybe you could make an alternative mod to woodworking expanded
DaniAngione May 17 @ 4:28am
Just know that a lot of people really appreciate your work and effort, and that your stuff is amazing and that's why some people can get a bit eager!

But yes, take your time <3
Argón  [author] May 10 @ 4:05pm
I'm not mad. I sometimes wish I could be faster, mainly because I myself do want to have stable mods.
Latex Santa May 10 @ 4:01pm
@Argón
I'm sorry for ragging on you like that.
But it certainly feels like a year sometimes.
lol May 10 @ 3:57pm
@argon
Zero pressure. Take all the time you need to have fun creating stuff!
Argón  [author] May 10 @ 3:25pm
I don't have a team like VE and I care to bring something that doesn't just look like bloat, for I game I don't precisely play every single day. I know it takes time, but I prefer to take some in spite of making a mod I actually feel satisfied with.
Latex Santa May 10 @ 5:44am
@lol
It'll take another year, sorry. XD
lol May 10 @ 3:48am
1.5 pretty please
InvitedRhino683 Apr 25 @ 8:22am
and you could also use it for things like kitchen decor and sinks / toilets from dubs bad hygiene :>
Latex Santa Apr 25 @ 8:21am
@InvitedRhino683
I second this motion.
InvitedRhino683 Apr 25 @ 8:19am
if youre updating this mod, do you think you could add in a small cleanliness bonus for things made of porcelain ? could make it an early game alternative to sterile tiles :>
CarlosCreeper Mar 30 @ 1:17pm
there are mods that uses Cement too, if you're gonna do a rework just keep that in mind:steamthumbsup:
Argón  [author] Mar 30 @ 11:53am
It's in the works at the moment. Shouldn't take much longer to release.
KeenAsp Mar 30 @ 5:52am
I am waiting for an update
Paprika Mar 24 @ 10:14am
would love this for 1.5
CarlosCreeper Mar 4 @ 1:29pm
#Rework (?)
Simpatico Feb 10 @ 9:53pm
I'd like to recommend adding how/where to obtain specific items in the info tab. I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to get cement and sand for my floor. On this page I see that sand comes from the digging spot; So In game I built the digging spot and my (Pawns)miners will not touch it whatsoever.
Voymir Griffitz Jan 20 @ 2:47pm
Thank you for your effort :)

I like your mods! :D
Latex Santa Jan 13 @ 2:15am
@Argón
Good news indeed. Thanks for the update.
Argón  [author] Jan 11 @ 3:49pm
I'm in the process. I can't give a date, but as soon as I finish working on the digging system. The rest of the content which is not a lot of complicated things should be done quicker.
MichalPl111 Jan 11 @ 6:03am
Pleas notice me when theare will be a update
Arswind Dec 15, 2024 @ 3:42am
please when
Cline West Dec 4, 2024 @ 7:50am
Yes, Jon is correct. If you can make the dirt, act like your sand and add an option to terraform and place sand, dirty, and dig for shallow water it would bring great functionality to this mod. Beside that, how far do you think you are from a 1.5 conversion. I have been waiting to start a new game. :)
jonilgz Dec 1, 2024 @ 10:34am
Problem is that 2 mods cant work together if not patched or something because there will be duplicated items. Thats why it would be perfect if this mods add that functionality to terraform.
