我在原版1.16.9测试可以正常使用。这个mod理应是不需要更新的，将会一直适配原版，如果是DLC的问题我就无能为力了。我已经不玩钢4了，各位有缘再会。

Sorry guys. I quit playing this game so I dont have the recent DLCs, but I just tested it on vanilla 1.16.9 and it seems to me it works?? And I didnt get any warning message either... If some DLC breaks this mod I am not able to and not going to maintain this anymore...

It's very sad that without this mod, your generals usually remain stuck with their beginning traits. If you want to give them traits, especially terrain ones, you have to go out of your way to pull off some very grindy strategy that only meta aficionados would ever enjoy.

"AI's gain rate for traits will also be changed for balance (but AI is not smart enough to train its generals anyway" Is this still the case with the improved AI? As I used another mod that basically does this but adds more feature and the soviet general I was fighting in Spain had maxed out traits, and by the end of the civil war all generals that were in Spain were maxed out on traits.

Updated. I marked the supported version number as 1.*.* so it became compatible with the old version of the game as well (I should do this half a year ago sorry)

And as far as I can see, Paradox is not going to change the trait system in any DLC in the near future, therefore this mod is compatible with all DLCs and most versions of the game.

HALF speed? Holy. I thought it it was maybe a nerf of 10%-20% per trait not straight up half. Thanks for the mod!

This mod still works but since the latest update significantly increased XP gain from combat, which did improve the game experience, you don't really need this mod any more if you feel good with the current trait system

Oh ok, I was just wondering cause the more traits I earn on my generals look like the more progress slows down as they get more traits that's why I was wondering, and does this mode need a new update? cause I feel like it might need a update.

@Mr.Gamer Yes and No. It's still a linear gain. However, the latest update to XP gains in the base game makes trait/level gain almost instantaneous with this.

good mod, very useful in mods that have added generals that would take years for you to get a general of similar skill.

Idk why except for somone who is new to the game would like a mod wich makes the Game 10000times easier than it already is especially against Vanilla AI
