And FWIW, I did look at 2nd/3rd floor roadways, and also underground trains. Just about as complicated as limiting plane sizes on certain taxiways!

Hello all. Sorry, its been a while since I was in the game. Unfortunately, I made the mod purposely not work next to taxiways, just like other building tools. Reason being, it doesn't make sense that you can build a skywalk over an A380. Only other way to do it would be to limit what size planes could use taxiways in the area of a skywalk, and I just can't imagine how complicated that would be. As for the 20x20 build area, also done on purpose because it doesn't make sense to have massive areas hovering in the air. I always spent lots of time planning my airport before I started building, planning where 2x2 "pillars" would need to be, put those in on the 1st floor, then built the 2nd floor from corner to corner of the pillars. Of course you're still going to have to destroy the interior walls, which kinda stinks, but it is what it is. Really glad you're enjoying the mod; hopefully the devs will incorporate it in future builds.

Hi! I love your mod, it's literally one of the most useful in my arsenal.
I know nothing about developing mods, so this may be really complicated and I just don't know it, but would it be possible to change it to more than 20 blocks apart? Like another poster, I'd love love love to be able to connect to remote gates, but the limits on how close you can build to the taxiways prevents this.

Does it work over taxiways? I've tried creating an air-bridge to satellite gates but I can't get it to work because of the 10 cell buffer around taxiways

Absolutely works for that. Make sure you're using the Skywalk foundation tool (not the regular foundation tool) and that the corners are not on top of any roads, train tracks, and fences/gates.

Hey i like the mod but sadly i cant build over the main road and the train track. Is there a solution for this?

What is not working? Did you turn on the mod in the Mod Settings? Do you see the "Skywalk" tool in the build menu? Need to know what is 'not working for you'.

Sorry, no can do on the upper level roads and ramps. Looked at it but there are even more complexities than being able to levitate concrete!

It was a design choice. While KDEN has a skywalk, only small planes can go under it. There isn't really a way for me to prevent larger planes (like A380s) from going underneath. I mean, I probably could, but that wouldn't prevent you from putting an XL gate that the planes couldn't actually get to, so opted to go this route. Sorry! Will consider adding an "unsafe" mode to it!

Is the restriction of use over a taxiway a design choice, or a technical limitation? It would be great if I can access my remote terminal building via a skybridge a la KDEN, rather than through a long tunnel.

Thanks, one other potential issue I noticed since then is that upgrades of gates (like fuel port or stairs for small gates) are not showing up, not 100% sure it's the mod but could be the upgrades are rendered under the gate

Thanks! I just finished some code that appears to fix the road ramps issue. I want to clean up a couple other things (can't put down a runway next to an under construction taxiway, zone labels show through the floor above, and there's a nasty slowdown when putting down roads). Hope to have a patch up in the next day or two.

Brilliant mod, only issue I encountered is that the road ramps are visible through the skywalks, would that be something you can fix?

The pillars should build themselves. Otherwise, if you want to build, they are just a 1x1 wall segment. I'm designing a base now with 2x2 walls to make them a little bigger.

I subscribed, downloaded, and enabled this mod. Then it disappeared from the Mod Settings section and I don't have the Skywalk option in the construction menu.

Have you turned it on in Menu > Options > Mod Settings? Also, did it download the "Mod Support via Harmony Library"? That also needs to be turned on. And yes, I'm about to update the description above to include this!
