@TurtleShroom I hope so because I'm installing it!
TurtleShroom Jul 1 @ 11:05am
Does this Mod still work?
yanyan420 Nov 6, 2023 @ 2:42am
My IT buildings fill up with college graduates fast.

I am using this with Realistic Pop.

Thank you based modder.
thatonerandom Nov 5, 2023 @ 8:57am
god bless you :steamthis:
Hayran Sep 17, 2023 @ 4:23pm
Works very well, thanks for it!
澡堂里的汤 Sep 3, 2023 @ 6:07am
Hope it can be my saver. My level 3 commercials have no highly educated workers while farms have tons of highly educated workers. :steamfacepalm:
m.alfaxx08 Aug 16, 2023 @ 1:03am
Please dont fire me
pkenny Jun 28, 2023 @ 7:12am
Downloaded and installed today. It fixed lots of "not enough educated workers" in my city. WORKS for me. Thank you to the modder who created it.
Patient Jun 23, 2023 @ 6:15pm
Forget my last comment I just deleted it; I was getting You're Fired and Employ Overeducated Workers mixed up.
You're Fired absolutely still works and I currently use it.
Employ Overeducated Workers is the one that was basically rolled into the base game.
Hestia Jun 23, 2023 @ 6:03pm
Does anyone know if this is safe to use for the current patch? If not, is there an alternative? This is a fantastic mod.
shan501a May 7, 2023 @ 1:13pm
Not working for my, crashing my game and no loading
animelchild9 Apr 2, 2023 @ 5:21am
Can anyone confirm if this is working? I have had this installed in my city "for one year" and I still have places with 11 overeducated workers while others have not enough educated workers. I see it as a mod in the main menu but I dont see it as a mod or options when loaded into a game...
Domi Mar 26, 2023 @ 5:29am
Thank you. This mod saved my city from going bankrupt
hologramホログラム Mar 20, 2023 @ 12:24pm
Works perfectly for me. I was in a constant loop when some plopped commercials hired uneducated workers, then complained about having uneducated workers, then went abandoned. This mod fixed the issue
KerbalMissile Feb 16, 2023 @ 4:06pm
I tried it and it works well but some of my business' still have a error with not enough workers no matter how many houses I make.
BlightZ Feb 4, 2023 @ 1:12pm
Nice
Delta 5-1  [author] Jan 6, 2023 @ 11:22am
Works just fine with the latest game version.
zrinski1974 Jan 6, 2023 @ 5:38am
This mod is not working at all!
benjasus Dec 28, 2022 @ 3:28pm
BROKEN
Gamingbeaver Dec 21, 2022 @ 1:02pm
Can someone fix this mode so it can work with this new update?
arthraix Dec 19, 2022 @ 2:29pm
If this mod is broken, could someone revisit this mod and keep it updated?
CheezBallz Dec 18, 2022 @ 10:59pm
Does this work with the newest version?
VNDK8R Dec 15, 2022 @ 6:23pm
Is a Cities: Skylines 1.16.0-f3 update coming for this mod?
Maghuro Dec 3, 2022 @ 12:49pm
Oh I see. Thanks for your clarification! :) And thanks also for your work and efforts!
Delta 5-1  [author] Dec 3, 2022 @ 4:59am
@Maghuro, the mod only fires under -educated workers, not over-educated ones, like in your screenshot.

Over-educated workers are also not an issue as far as the game is concerned. They increase productivity of the building and the amount of tax it generates.

@dimasik38ru, what the message indicates is that the mod was created (or last updated) before the most recent game update. It is misleading in that it suggests all mods need a update every time CO updates the game. Many mods do not, especially smaller ones, like this one.

@Purple, yes.

@likebubba, if your buildings are complaining about "not enough workers", it means just that - not enough people live in your city for to fill all the workplaces in commercial/office/industrial buildings.
Maghuro Dec 2, 2022 @ 9:42am
I don't think this is working properly.
I'm having most of my buildings having this: https://i.ibb.co/F8nKfzv/a.png
And they are never fired.... :(
dimasik38ru Nov 22, 2022 @ 3:50am
Why does the game display a message about the incompatibility of the mod with the game version 1.15.1-f4?
Sspiralz Nov 20, 2022 @ 12:52pm
compatible with the free patch?
likebubba Nov 8, 2022 @ 9:51am
I feel like the Employ Over-educated Workers worked better cause the rate at which I get not enough workers has kind of increased a tonne ... or is there something I might have missed?
crisborged83 Sep 15, 2022 @ 11:55am
@Bkoxal, it works similarly to over-educated workers mod but over-educated workers does not work with realistic population revisited mod. I had to unsub from the latter to get over-educated workers mod to work and its really super. i will keep this one in mind pending when over-educated stops working.
Sota Sep 15, 2022 @ 7:46am
@Duke illington, its in the list of p&p compatible mods by stayhungerystay fooling and chameleon tbn so it should be.
Duke illington Sep 14, 2022 @ 2:52pm
is this still functional post P&P launch?
Darth_Jimbo Sep 13, 2022 @ 1:14pm
Unfortunately this mod is not working for me. The simulation runs for a few seconds then freezes. I had the game running in this state for about helf an hour but nothing changed. I'll provide output.log and video when I have the time.
MineBloxKy Sep 1, 2022 @ 3:10pm
@Snowwie, you can use the industry 4.0 policy.
Snowwie Aug 19, 2022 @ 4:16pm
Usually it happens the other way around, I have hordes of Smarty Pants and no workers for in my factories. I solve that by not building too many schools and universities and also zone (big) residential area's with the policy "Schools Out". Also keeping the amount of commercial zoning in check helps, because less shops means no jobs there, so it's more likely they go working in your industry. Eventually you can build more commercial, but just bit by bit, not too fast.
Blooshoo Aug 3, 2022 @ 6:48pm
delta is the best! huzzzah delta! (5-1)
KerbalMissile Aug 2, 2022 @ 2:26pm
Wow this actually works finally something I can use good job
Bunnies&Cherris Jul 27, 2022 @ 3:16pm
Would be nice if this mod could detect if education levels are low and not fire employees then. When a building has a lot of job slots it doesn't mind 4 uneducated workers it doesn't need plus a few educated worker slots empty, but it often will mind if it has even just a little less employees, educated or not.

Super tiny issue that's not a common issue, and idk how hard it would be so it's a lot more of a sidenote. Super useful mod that really should be basegame features!
Gareth Jul 22, 2022 @ 5:39am
Found the problem, ignore me LOL
Lordwarblade Jul 21, 2022 @ 11:20pm
Now that we have a constant stream of graduates coming in direct from University, can you please make this work exactly like IBM and have them all automatically sacked when they reach 50 years old.
jpcosta92 Jul 12, 2022 @ 11:43am
To me, this is one of those "base game mods", the kind of mod that fills in the gaps in a way we all know is needed, but few actually get the work done.
Thank you very much for this.
StayHungryStayFoolish Jul 10, 2022 @ 2:43am
@Delta5-1 I have added this nice mod to the Airports DLC Compatible modlist.
Chris6d Jun 25, 2022 @ 9:20am
Aka the Trump mod
Elias Jun 24, 2022 @ 9:39am
Weird that this only exists 7 years after the games release... well done!
Shane_UK10 Jun 23, 2022 @ 2:59am
@Delta 5-1 Thank you for creating this and your excellent roads. You've chosen to allow under educated workers to be fired but not over educated ones. Perhaps you could put that in options? I ask as an employee won't leave a poorly paid shop job to work in a better office job currently. Perhaps you could create another mod called "Stick your job, I quit!"
Delta 5-1  [author] Jun 22, 2022 @ 2:02am
Hi macluk, I had a quick look at that mod's code, it looks like they should work fine together.

As a side note, Employ Overeducated Workers seems obsolete to me, since buildings do look for overeducated workers as part of the base game behaviour (while still preferring those at the appropriate education level).
macluk Jun 21, 2022 @ 10:38pm
How does it work with Employ Overeducated Workers? I'm using V2 (1.30+).
I don't suppose they will conflict but as I'm away now I can't check it 😀
exculcator Jun 20, 2022 @ 9:59am
Huzzah!
Chamëleon TBN Jun 19, 2022 @ 9:16am
Seems todo what it should do... and no conflicts rn with ~150 mods ... good work :)
war4sure Jun 19, 2022 @ 4:59am
Finally, you're a livesaver!
