@Tenga You could not make a similar mod when reloading launchers? Arma3 player stops moving when reloading launchers (all launchers except RPG-7!) and it looks weird. The Titan-Launchers reloading could be left unaffected, and the rest of the launchers have no reason to block the movement of the player or AI.

@HG|331 Hiddens: You don't need this mod anymore, this was implemented in the base game in patch 1.58 which has been out for around two years now.

@GeckoWarrior :steamfacepalm: How the hell can you even say that BIS is incompetent? Is there any similar sandbox shooter game? Arma without thousands of mods isn't Arma, this game and mods just come together as well as bread with butter, nothing of this would be real without BIS, you can only be happy that BIS exists and lets Arma be Arma, not like many cases of other games...

It's a shame it doesn't work with the regular weapon switching command. Nice job nonetheless. Every time I switch weapons I get a weird flash on my screen. :eh:

Somehow I cannot get it to run alongside agm. I seems as if the agm keybinds for switching weapons (default 1 and 2 for pistol & main) are overriding my custom keybinds for switching on the move, even though there are no keys bound for switching weapons in the agm menu.
It does work when agm is not running, so it must have something to do with agm's keybinds.
Any suggestions? Can I edit a certain file to get rid off those two agm keybinds?

this shit should not have to be a fucking mod that a community member makes. You'd think that a basic feature like being able to switch weapons without stopping motion (in a realistic milsim game like arma) would be included in the vanilla game. Damn Bohemia, the only reason I play your buggy unoptimized peice of shit is because there are no other realistic fps's with vehicles and open endedness like arma 3. The clunkiness of the movement and the action menu and the general feel of the game should have been fixed long ago in arma 2 or something. This shit is unfucking acceptable and it sucks because there aren't any alternatives to play.

When you start this mod on vanilla game all works perfect. But if you try to play with Authentic Gameplay Modification and Switch weapons, second don`t want to work. Maybe because it conflict with AGM_Core.pbo ... I tryed to choose different keybinds, or started AGM without parts. Nothing helped.

Installed mod. Set up the Use action 18, which I assume is for Switch gun/launcher. Tested it out in the editor, and the character just stops to switch weapon. Does not keep moving.

btw, you dont need a mod for this...its already built into the game. I have had this setup like this for some time now. i will try to fig out which hotkey it is and let ya know. but you dont need a mod for it lol.

The game needs to strike a balance between Sim and Fun. Which it does. This is a great mod to let players tailor the experience more to their liking.

If I start to reload my primary weapon (rifle) while standing still, I cannot move until it finishes reloading the weapon. (If I start reloading the weapon while moving, I can).

It's also not reallistic when you can't stop an animation sequence of yourself switching weapons from your AK4 to a Carl Gustav and shoot an emerging enemy.

In a situation like that you just dump the launcher and focus on hitting the enemy with an assault rifle fire.

So realism suffers with or without this mod - and your point was? ;p

Please get it on the PlayWithSIX repository so people could integrate it with their mod packs and it will become a standard, if you have not done so already. :)

Everyone wanting this in the game and thinking BI couldnt make it somehow, please think again. There has to be choises made how realistic they want the game. Its not that they CANT do this lol. They DONT WANT THIS in the game. Easy to understand. The discussion if its realistic or not to switch weapons while moving or not, is a totally diffrent discussion. The thing people have to understand is why BI choose not to have stuff like this in the game.

Would love to see a Sling system. Where the operator drops his rifle to the front and pulls his side arm, in junction with this mod it would go great.
