the animated radio calls was a bad idea. I cant tell you how many times ive died due to being unable to shoot a guy right in front of me.

Awesome mod. I've been using it with an Alive scenario. Is there a way to recruit a group? If not could this be added? This mod is perfect besides that. Thank again!

Got ambushed from behind. My character would rather take his non-firing hand off his gun to report the ambush to his squad leader who was 300 feet away rather than return fire to save his own life.

wonderful mod with tons of great stuff going for it. i have yet to get it working in my custom missions but the provided tutorials were super promising. almost feels like a seamless, vanilla implementation of commanding troops (a really sore spot for arma). would you consider making this mod work with an arbitrary number of high command units, instead of just 5?

@Kykyxa I haven't found a specific mission yet but setup is just using the mission editor, dragging out the Platoon Commander module, and making sure its options are correctly configured to point at the squads you want to use (by name, no syncing required). The tutorial scenario has a good example of how it's used if you decompile the PBO

if you don't do this, you still have access to the expanded own-squad commands (like fire on signal, linear ambush, etc) but vanilla High Command units won't be able to be commanded in the same way and some vanilla command options will be inaccessible

This is an amazing mod and I'm glad I found it. Although it advertises platoon level and recon, I've found it suitable for task organization at the squad level (having three rifle squads and personally commanding the weapons squad, since there's no reorganizing the high command units in-mission). I'll have more feedback, but just know this mod is amazing and worth trying. Even the tutorials are polished!

Очень хочу с ним поиграть на Antistasi, но он выдает дефолтное управление отрядом(подразделение управляется как нужно). Или хотя бы на warlords

Можно как-нибудь переключить управление отрядами, как в моде?

most likely, in addition to a group of mortar men, you have another group in the editor with the same call sign, but belonging to the other side.
1 - change the call sign of the mortar group.
2 - check if the mortar men have two different backpacks from which the mortar is assembled.

Great mod so far, after playing the tutorial missions. I went to try and set this up in the editor, and I can't get the mortar to function properly. An error message of "Mortar is not Defined" Keeps coming up. How do I fix this?

Waypoints of sabotage and reconnaissance actions have been improved.
Fixed some bugs.
The Capture of Enemies mod has been added to the mod build (disabled by default).

Try the following:
1) Enter the callsigns with a copy-paste.
2) Change the call names to your own, for example: Alpha-1, Bravo-2 and so on.
3) Take a closer look at the difference between the squad that you can see from those that are not visible.

If you do everything right, nothing like this should appear.

Under unit call names I would have a standard platoon consisting of units labeled alpha 1-1 1-2 etc and when I launch the mission it would only have one other squad (aside of mine) under my command.

Describe in detail how you do it. Keep in mind that you should enter a callnames, not a group variables.

Yes, an extended menu is ready for mining roads (AP, AT and AP&AT) and undermining objects (buildings, vehicles, bridges, static weapons, supply boxes and railways)

No, 5 is max number. But you can place in editor 2,3 or 4 groups also.

Yes, the mod will work, but if the player is not the leader of his group, he is not a platoon commander, so he will not have access to the menu for managing his group and the rest of the platoon groups. Consequently, the mod's functions will work, but the player will not get any benefit from it until he takes command.

I can't answer the second question because I haven't tried it. You can test it yourself.

Ok good news. The previous error is gone. But now there is a new one. "Variable 'pc_show_wp_info_bar' does not support serialization and should not be stored in the mission namespace."

To recreate (hopefully), I have no mods or CDLC loaded except CBA_A3 and this mod, I open Eden editor on Stratis, place down a single NATO rifleman, and press play scenario. As soon as the scenario loads I immediately get this error.

The mod itself does work, it just throws this error at scenario launch. Maybe its user error on my end?

Please describe this bug in more detail. When exactly does it occur (at mission start, after loading a saved mission?), how often (always, only sometimes?) and how can I reproduce it on my computer?
