I've been enjoying using the ship, minus the difficulty of tunneling with the industrial drills like someone else mentioned, they need to be buffed tbh.

I of course slapped a ton of solar panels on it cause it's nice letting it idle with some things turned on without using fuel. I also fixed the signals as they weren't really working for some reason.

It's required for the drills. You can remove those to bring it in early, but it kinda defeats the point of the ship.

Wish it didn't need the Zasc and Erest.

As far as I am aware the big mechanical drills have always been that bad. Tunneling is not a thing with them.

did they change drill area for the industrial drills some time?
I am unable to "tunnel" mine through a asteroid and even unable to mine right in the middle when there are small pieces left.
will leave quite a lot of blindspots while mining, which is super sad.
wanted to keep that ship longer because I absolutely love the look of it :D

To fix the oxygen issue, remove the glass door in the hydroponics bay and replace with normal door. Its not air tight. ;)

There is an issue, oxygen is leaking somewhere. Loaded it unmodified, still no oxygen.

Lower level requirement and don't require upgrade kits to build. They are starter items.

Is there any advantage of using the Large Mechanical Drills over the laser ones?

One Turret position is directly below the existing turret, and looks quite similar. The other is a little further back. You will need to remove the round deco block to place turrets there.

I feel dumb I am having a hard time figuring out where you thought the other 4 turrets would go. BTW I absolutely love this ship for a starting CV miner.
